In fact, the Democrats, in their madness to create problems for the President are the architects of this "cruelty" you are complaining about. Under the law, minors cannot be deported, so if their parents don't take them with them when they are deported and their are not under the guardianship of another adult, they must be detained. Each year the President has asked Congress for money to build better facilities and more services and each year the Democrats in the House proudly refuse to provide the money. President Trump has addressed these problems, in spite of the leftist courts always trying to stop him.

He got Mexico to stop most of these people before they made their way to our borders. He is in the process of stopping Birther Tourism by having government refuse green cards to pregnant women. He solved the phony asylum seekers who are the ones responsible for bringing these kids here in the first place. Now if you want to apply for asylum, you must do it at a US embassy in your own country. If you do get across the border, make it to ours, you are automatically disqualified from applying if you were offered asylum in Mexico or any other country. No more asylum shopping.
