This led to voting in the creation of the Euro, which took all of the debt of lazy countries like France and Greece and piled it up on responsible countries like Germany.

He just started haranguing her and putting his hands within an inch or two from her face and shoulder like he was trying to poke her or get her to shut-up.

They have a solid Navy, but no ground forces to speak of, and a rather small air force considering their size and global position. The only reason their military ranks at the bottom of the top 10 is their Navy.

So yes - if America didn't have to protect the world - we could afford this.

And then Germany - an abysmal military that Russia could take faster than Ukraine if it was just between the two.

Again, this is only true because the US has been protecting their ass for 70 years.
Germany could have a large powerful army, but they don't want to have to pay for one.

Now roughly 40-50% of the overhead will be employee compensation while getting 25% less productivity.
