Typical of the naïveté of socialists through out history...

All memes & no substance. make a cogent argument with facts & maybe you'll come across as more than a troll with nothing to bring to the debate table.

LOL.
Ok, Socialism has never worked in the history of the planet...

LOL. That's why all those citizens from 'socialist' countries are beating down the door to come here.

LOL.

another fail on your part.
Show me long term where socialism has worked in history?? Dictators have always risen from the ashes of socialism, all of them.

Socialism has always been a pseudo solution young naïve do gooders, Who never think long term.

insanity.jpg

we are only a couple hundred years old as a nation & all those 'socialist' countries that are much older by far are still standing, deary.

and they still ain't coming here.

Most current European government's are less than a century old and all are on the verge of failing, propped up by other people's money.
Name one??
Long term...

Worked out pretty well in 2012, when Sheldon Adelson destroyed Romney in the primaries. But yeah, not what this republic was supposed to be at all.

"I hope we shall... crush in its birth the aristocracy of our monied corporations which dare already to challenge our government to a trial of strength and bid defiance to the laws of our country."
-- Thomas Jefferson, letter to George Logan (Nov. 12, 1816)

I at one time thought the supreme court was right in Citizens United by letting billionaire super pacs run wild. I now see how that has allowed a few bilionaires to control the political system and buy puppets like rubio to do what they are told. 2016 is the year we can tell the rubio feces eaters to GO TO HELL.

And stay there

Here's the thing though....was the court wrong? Your statements seem to reflect a belief that the consequences of the ruling are undesirable. And with that, I agree with you entirely. However, this does not make the ruling wrong. The court does not rule for the purpose of setting good policy. Only with the intention of following lawful policy.

Cons claim they want to go by the constitution, but instead they destroy it by changing the meaning. They have made money "free speech", which denies free speech to anyone that doesn't have it. They have made America an Oligarchy.

I'll believe corporations are people as soon as I see Texas execute one

I'm not sure if this would work, but how about each candidate has the same maximum amount of money to carry a campaign, whether it is self funded or donations. Maybe a $50 million cap. So each campaign has to decide where their money goes: travel to speech sites, commercial ads, luxury hotels, staff workers, etc.
There should be a fund and distributed evenly among the candidates.

I agree.

Sander's policies are downright dangerous.

Read this & tell me this country hasn't already fallen prey to 'dangerous policies' & which widespread political ideology it's evil little finger its pointing to that wants to do more:

The 14 Defining
Characteristics Of Fascism

Free Inquiry
Spring 2003
5-11-3

Dr. Lawrence Britt has examined the fascist regimes of Hitler (Germany), Mussolini (Italy), Franco (Spain), Suharto (Indonesia) and several Latin American regimes. Britt found 14 defining characteristics common to each:
1. Powerful and Continuing Nationalism - Fascist regimes tend to make constant use of patriotic mottos, slogans, symbols, songs, and other paraphernalia. Flags are seen everywhere, as are flag symbols on clothing and in public displays.

2. Disdain for the Recognition of Human Rights - Because of fear of enemies and the need for security, the people in fascist regimes are persuaded that human rights can be ignored in certain cases because of "need." The people tend to look the other way or even approve of torture, summary executions, assassinations, long incarcerations of prisoners, etc.

3. Identification of Enemies/Scapegoats as a Unifying Cause - The people are rallied into a unifying patriotic frenzy over the need to eliminate a perceived common threat or foe: racial , ethnic or religious minorities; liberals; communists; socialists, terrorists, etc.

4. Supremacy of the Military - Even when there are widespread domestic problems, the military is given a disproportionate amount of government funding, and the domestic agenda is neglected. Soldiers and military service are glamorized.

5. Rampant Sexism - The governments of fascist nations tend to be almost exclusively male-dominated. Under fascist regimes, traditional gender roles are made more rigid. Divorce, abortion and homosexuality are suppressed and the state is represented as the ultimate guardian of the family institution.

6. Controlled Mass Media - Sometimes to media is directly controlled by the government, but in other cases, the media is indirectly controlled by government regulation, or sympathetic media spokespeople and executives. Censorship, especially in war time, is very common.

7. Obsession with National Security - Fear is used as a motivational tool by the government over the masses.

8. Religion and Government are Intertwined - Governments in fascist nations tend to use the most common religion in the nation as a tool to manipulate public opinion. Religious rhetoric and terminology is common from government leaders, even when the major tenets of the religion are diametrically opposed
to the government's policies or actions.

9. Corporate Power is Protected - The industrial and business aristocracy of a fascist nation often are the ones who put the government leaders into power, creating a mutually beneficial business/government relationship and power elite.

10. Labor Power is Suppressed - Because the organizing power of labor is the only real threat to a fascist government, labor unions are either eliminated entirely, or are severely suppressed.

11. Disdain for Intellectuals and the Arts - Fascist nations tend to promote and tolerate open hostility to higher education, and academia. It is not uncommon for professors and other academics to be censored or even arrested. Free expression in the arts and letters is openly attacked.

12. Obsession with Crime and Punishment - Under fascist regimes, the police are given almost limitless power to enforce laws. The people are often willing to overlook police abuses and even forego civil liberties in the name of patriotism. There is often a national police force with virtually unlimited power in fascist nations.

13. Rampant Cronyism and Corruption - Fascist regimes almost always are governed by groups of friends and associates who appoint each other to government positions and use governmental power and authority to protect their friends from accountability. It is not uncommon in fascist regimes for national resources and even treasures to be appropriated or even outright stolen by government leaders.
14. Fraudulent Elections - Sometimes elections in fascist nations are a complete sham. Other times elections are manipulated by smear campaigns against or even assassination of opposition candidates, use of legislation to control voting numbers or political district boundaries, and manipulation of the media. Fascist nations also typically use their judiciaries to manipulate or control elections.

The 14 Defining Characteristics Of Fascism

Lets remember this PAC change was to level the playing field. Democrats being lowlife scum had gamed the system turning public and private unions into unrestricted super PAC's while the GOP and others were prohibited from creating their own and limited on spending. If the OP has a point its that Democrats being lowlife scum have once again managed to make politics even more corrupt.

Thomas Jefferson never wrote that. It's made up.

No, not made up like you would want to think, but even a paraphrase needs quotations.

Thanx for tryin'.

Status: This exact quotation has not been found in the writings of Thomas Jefferson. It may be a mistaken amalgamation of the author's comments in the above 1994 reference with a real Jefferson quotation. Jefferson wrote in 1825 to William Branch Giles of "vast accession of strength from their younger recruits, who having nothing in them of the feelings or principles of ’76 now look to a single and splendid government of an Aristocracy, founded on banking institutions and monied in corporations under the guise and cloak of their favored branches of manufactures commerce and navigation, riding and ruling over the plundered ploughman and beggared yeomanry."2 Chomsky's 1994 book quotes Jefferson's 1825 letter to Giles and then comments that "[Jefferson] warned that that would be the end of democracy and the defeat of the American revolution."
