I admit i was wrong.

Do you seriously bleev your Congressmen and Senators are going to do anything to hurt their chances of re-election? All this talk about MONEY is a diversion. It's theater for the rubes.

Oh, my guy is the good guy. Everyone else is the problem.
Yep.

"Those other bastards do a lot of pork spending, by my guy brings home the bacon!"

A lot of people vote according to the letter after the politician's name, and gerrymandering takes it from there.

Who's for a 'smaller, less intrusive government' except when it comes to who you are sleeping with or a woman's uterus? So save the hypocritical bullshit you are trying to peddle.
Tax, spend and print policy's of the federal government are beyond intrusive and careless... They are the actions of an banana republic.

You'll vote for him.

BWA-HA-HA-HA-HA!

I promise you, there are a lot of people laughing their asses off right now at your claim I support Trump.

Idiot.

You just made a complete fool of yourself. That's what happens when retards build strawmen.

You are almost as funny as the tards who think I voted for Obama just because I deconstruct the lies they parrot.

If he is the (R) candidate, you'll stay home? or vote 3rd party? he's THAT bad?

sure. sure. I believe you.
Stop listening to the voices in your head. I'm sick and tired of tards like you.

And yes, if Trump is the GOP nominee, I will not vote the top of the ticket. Again. Just like I have since 2006.

I will vote on state level offices and measures, but not President.

okey dokey then. one less vote from you = all the more better. I voted for ralph nader in 2000. lookey what happened when a lot of people did that. I changed from indie on paper to (D) in 2006 to be able to vote in the primaries & get joe liebertoady, our state senator o-u-t. I remain a registered (D) since for exactly the same reason as before... do your assumptions come from the voices in YOUR head?

:lmao:
I have not made any assumptions. Only you have.

You got miffed when I pointed out one of your bumper stickers was incorrect, and you jumped to all sorts of retarded conclusions from there.

oh I will agree as far as the meme not being an exact quote- however the intent was the same as I have shown... not to mention THAT was what you jumped on rather than every other link I have posted about the actual thread topic... i wonder why? & calling names shows where you come from- you have done that repeatedly & that's the funniest thing of all about you.

All memes & no substance. make a cogent argument with facts & maybe you'll come across as more than a troll with nothing to bring to the debate table.

LOL.
Ok, Socialism has never worked in the history of the planet...
Sander's policies are downright dangerous.

Read this & tell me this country hasn't already fallen prey to 'dangerous policies' & which widespread political ideology it's evil little finger its pointing to that wants to do more:

The 14 Defining
Characteristics Of Fascism

Free Inquiry
Spring 2003
5-11-3

Dr. Lawrence Britt has examined the fascist regimes of Hitler (Germany), Mussolini (Italy), Franco (Spain), Suharto (Indonesia) and several Latin American regimes. Britt found 14 defining characteristics common to each:
1. Powerful and Continuing Nationalism - Fascist regimes tend to make constant use of patriotic mottos, slogans, symbols, songs, and other paraphernalia. Flags are seen everywhere, as are flag symbols on clothing and in public displays.

2. Disdain for the Recognition of Human Rights - Because of fear of enemies and the need for security, the people in fascist regimes are persuaded that human rights can be ignored in certain cases because of "need." The people tend to look the other way or even approve of torture, summary executions, assassinations, long incarcerations of prisoners, etc.

3. Identification of Enemies/Scapegoats as a Unifying Cause - The people are rallied into a unifying patriotic frenzy over the need to eliminate a perceived common threat or foe: racial , ethnic or religious minorities; liberals; communists; socialists, terrorists, etc.

4. Supremacy of the Military - Even when there are widespread domestic problems, the military is given a disproportionate amount of government funding, and the domestic agenda is neglected. Soldiers and military service are glamorized.

5. Rampant Sexism - The governments of fascist nations tend to be almost exclusively male-dominated. Under fascist regimes, traditional gender roles are made more rigid. Divorce, abortion and homosexuality are suppressed and the state is represented as the ultimate guardian of the family institution.

6. Controlled Mass Media - Sometimes to media is directly controlled by the government, but in other cases, the media is indirectly controlled by government regulation, or sympathetic media spokespeople and executives. Censorship, especially in war time, is very common.

7. Obsession with National Security - Fear is used as a motivational tool by the government over the masses.

8. Religion and Government are Intertwined - Governments in fascist nations tend to use the most common religion in the nation as a tool to manipulate public opinion. Religious rhetoric and terminology is common from government leaders, even when the major tenets of the religion are diametrically opposed
to the government's policies or actions.

9. Corporate Power is Protected - The industrial and business aristocracy of a fascist nation often are the ones who put the government leaders into power, creating a mutually beneficial business/government relationship and power elite.

10. Labor Power is Suppressed - Because the organizing power of labor is the only real threat to a fascist government, labor unions are either eliminated entirely, or are severely suppressed.

11. Disdain for Intellectuals and the Arts - Fascist nations tend to promote and tolerate open hostility to higher education, and academia. It is not uncommon for professors and other academics to be censored or even arrested. Free expression in the arts and letters is openly attacked.

12. Obsession with Crime and Punishment - Under fascist regimes, the police are given almost limitless power to enforce laws. The people are often willing to overlook police abuses and even forego civil liberties in the name of patriotism. There is often a national police force with virtually unlimited power in fascist nations.

13. Rampant Cronyism and Corruption - Fascist regimes almost always are governed by groups of friends and associates who appoint each other to government positions and use governmental power and authority to protect their friends from accountability. It is not uncommon in fascist regimes for national resources and even treasures to be appropriated or even outright stolen by government leaders.
14. Fraudulent Elections - Sometimes elections in fascist nations are a complete sham. Other times elections are manipulated by smear campaigns against or even assassination of opposition candidates, use of legislation to control voting numbers or political district boundaries, and manipulation of the media. Fascist nations also typically use their judiciaries to manipulate or control elections.

Controlled Mass Media
The FCC under Michael Powell (appointed during Bush's reign) issued fines & threatened the loss of media licenses for what a narrow band of yahoos deemed 'inappropriate' & still continues today, not to mention Clear Channel.
"Clear Channel Communications is the number one radio station owner in the U.S. "Clear Channel owns, operates, programs, or sells airtime for nearly 1,200 radio stations; it also has equity interests in 240 international stations... In addition, Clear Channel owns or manages about 50 TV stations and sells spot advertising for more than 3,300 radio and TV stations through Katz Media. The company has agreed to be taken private by an investment group led by Thomas H. Lee Partners and Bain Capital...Following the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, Clear Channel program directors issued a list of "potentially offensive songs" that it suggested stations not play. Many reports referred to the list as a "ban" on the songs, which included all Rage Against The Machine songs, the Notorious B.I.G.'s "Juicy" (which includes the line "Time to get paid, blow up like the World Trade"), John Lennon's "Imagine," Metallica's "Seek and Destroy," AC/DC's "Safe in New York," Bobby Darin's "Mack the Knife," Peter, Paul and Mary's "Leaving on a Jet Plane," and Jerry Lee Lewis' "Great Balls of Fire," and "The Drifters' On Broadway."

Clear Channels owns most, if not all, of right wing radio. Then of course there is Rupert Murdoch... who owns FOX, the WSJ, other various newspapers, magazines, & interwebs. There is a big problem with the ownership of such large holdings of media by one person/entity.

Obsession with National Security

Remember the 'Threat level' chart that never fell below yellow? Which party came up with that?

Religion and Government are Intertwined

I don't even need to say a thing here.

Corporate Power is Protected

Citizen's United ruled on & was voted along party lines; ultimately passed by SC Justice Roberts... a Republican.

Labor Power is Suppressed

Which party is anti-union? Which states (red or blue) are 'right to work' states?

Fraudulent Elections

The SC decided Bush 'won' the election in 2000 based on 'pregnant & hanging chads' that were examined & counted in Florida, where JEB! was residing governor at the time. Then of course is the electronic voting fraud that came after that:

Diebold, electronic voting and the vast right-wing conspiracy

This thread is symptomatic of one of your societal ills today, to wit: ignorance. PACs, corporations, lobby groups, and political organizations, are like minded people joining forces in order to effectively have their voices heard. They are not entities that exist in a vacuum; they are composed of citizens. Citizens United enhanced our political speech by striking down the speech controls created by socialistic goons in a ridiculous and illogical attempt to make groups of people with common goals less important in our political system than an individual. In short, campaign finance regulations pre- Citizens United were disenfranchising huge swaths of American Citizens.

C'mon, let's put our critical thinking caps on here.
