If you look at the history of how regimes like this collapse...the usual scenario is for the regime leaders to see the writing on the wall and for all of them to go into exile with the money they've collected over the years they've been in power. That was the case with Batista in Cuba and with the Shah in Iran. Do you really think the people in the IRGC that ordered the slaughter of 30,000 Iranians simply for protesting in the streets are going to hang around when the people rise up? They're going to be running to Russia like Assad did when Syria rose up against him. If they don't they'll be strung up and they know it!

They're starting to have rolling electrical black outs because they don't have the natural gas to run their power plants. They've shut down the internet because they don't want the people to be able to coordinate protests or hear news of how bad the war is going. The IMF is forecasting Iran's overall inflation rate for this year to be just below 70%. Food inflation is at 300%. Oil storage is reaching maximum which means they are going to be forced to shut down their oil fields which will cause irreversible damage.
And the biggest sign of collapse? The infighting between the IRGC and elected officials! There is no recognized leader. Their command structure resembles a Chinese fire drill.
Quite frankly? I've never seen a regime that is as close to complete collapse as Iran right now! Ever...
