It took a while for the increasingly-unpopular incompetent to discover how he could pervert the U.S. military to serve his egomaniacal whims, taxpayer dollars being of no concern.

The infamous Jesus impersonator apparently saw it as an opportunity to festoon himself with vicarious glory - the conquest of Greenland (or "Iceland" as he sometimes calls it) being of insufficient consequence, apparently.

One would have assumed that shifting desert sands would have obliterated the footprints of the hapless Bush, Cheney, and Rumsfeld, but the blowhard has stumbled into them, and is hot on their trail.

The blind faith of the cult is being tested.

Do-do do-do-do do-do-do
I love him, i love him, i love him
And where he goes I'll follow, I'll follow, I'll follow
I will follow him, follow him wherever he may go
And nothing can keep him from me
He is my destiny
I love him, I love him, I love him
And where he goes I'll follow, I'll follow, I'll follow
He'll always be my true love, my true love, my true love

From now until forever, forever, forever
I will follow him, follow him wherever he may go...

His media cheerleaders with an instinct for self-preservation have ceased flailing the pom-poms.

Would anyone care to speculate when, if ever, his most incorrigible camp followers will decamp?

Forever?

Hey, Dickhead....

That's Townhall, that rw rag.

Pew Research center says that "About half of Americans in recent polling say the U.S. is not winning or that the military action is “not going well,” depending on the specific question asked."

Another poll reveals About six in ten Americans disapprove of the war. Across multiple independent polls, public opposition consistently falls in the 59–61% range.

Your veneration of your messiah compels you to falsely attribute nefarious motives to others.

In reality, most Americans, regardless of ideological proclivities, acknowledge that yet another Middl East war is turning out to be far more costly, protracted, and ineffective in achieving its purported pretexts as advertised.

The same repugnant regime remains in power. It still has its enriched uranium. It has been given the opportunity to demonstrate its capacity to wreak havoc with the global economy and, as a consequence of Trump emulating Tojo, Americans have been forced to pay over $70 billion to date for that?

Actually about $25 billion to date, to keep the ayatollahs from being able to target your home with nuclear armed missiles.

You're welcome.

That's the concocted pretext some still swallow.

There is no credible evidence that Iran had reactivated its nuclear weapon development program.

The cost to Americans for the increasingly unpopular Trump "Pearl Harbor" surprise attack on Iran thus far is over $70 billion, not including the consequential soaring gas prices.

My spelling could use a little work

But its clear as can be which side the anti trumpers are on

And its not for America as long as trump is in office

The fact is the ayatollahs can't produce nuclear weapons now because the US has destroyed their enrichment facilities and will not allow them to rebuild them, thanks again, President Trump, and is clear you don't understand what the word, credible, means since you take an anonymous website as the ultimate authority on the cost of the war.

The official estimate of the cost of the war is $25 billion, and there is no reasonable basis for challenging that.

AI Overview

As of late April 2026, the U.S. Department of Defense has estimated that the military conflict with Iran, known as Operation Epic Fury, has cost approximately $25 billion. This figure covers roughly two months of war, starting from February 28, 2026. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
However, this estimate is heavily debated, with some officials and analysts suggesting the true cost is significantly higher, especially when factoring in the broader economic impact and munitions replacement. [1, 2, 3]
Key Details on the Cost of the 2026 Iran War:
  • Pentagon Estimate: The $25 billion estimate primarily covers munitions used, maintenance of equipment, and daily operations.
  • Alternative Estimates: Some analysts and economists suggest the total cost to the U.S. economy could exceed $630 billion to $1 trillion, factoring in long-term economic impacts, rising energy prices, and the cost of replacing used weaponry.
  • Daily Spending: Reports indicate that in the initial stages of the conflict, the war was costing approximately $2 billion a day, as detailed in. Another source mentions it's costing roughly $891.4 million per day, as analyzed in.
  • Munitions Usage: The high operational tempo has significantly depleted U.S. munitions stockpiles, including Tomahawk missiles, Patriot interceptors, and Precision Strike Missiles.
  • Long-Term Costs: The $25 billion figure is considered an opening bill, with costs expected to rise as the U.S. continues to blockade Iranian ports and maintain a large force presence in the region.
  • Damage to Infrastructure: Repairing U.S. military bases damaged in the conflict will add billions to the total cost, as described in. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8]
