I'm a libertarian, but would caucus with Republicans.

The Libertarian Party is deliberately misled into fringe and irrational positions to keep it from being a viable 3rd party.

The Republicrats have a monopoly on power, and as long as they can keep it "in-house" between the two of them, the Establishment is happy to fund both sides of the charade.

That said, Trump comes from outside the "in-house" paradigm.

I'm sure the Republican leaders who are controlled by the Establishment are still just as anxious as the Democrats for Trump to be out of office.

I voted for Trump all 3 elections, will vote for Vance in '28.

Don't think the country will hold together too much longer.

I agree generally with this. I am also libertarian, but think of myself more as liberty minded.

I totally agree about fringe and irrational positions. I saw one libertarian candidate make such an opening statement in a debate. He led off talking about open borders! Well, duh. Another candidate led off by apologizing. No marketing whatsoever.

I like the stance against the phony drug war, but there is too much focus on weed.
