Yes, I have to totally agree with this statement. I do totally agree with you that both Obama as well as Mitt Romney were and still are "Deep State."

On the plus side when it comes to President Obama....
at the minimum I have to give credit to President Obama for
Stopping Hillary in 2008. I believe that Hillary could have exceeded Obama... .and Biden..... and President George H. W. Bush, [Poppy Bush], .... and even president Lyndon Johnson, for being "Deep State" and against the average USA citizen.

On the other hand....
I do believe that as of today, May 16, 2026 only Mr. Mitt Romney could donate a convincing script that he could easily write for a possible "White Horse President" film series that he could donate to AMERICA much as President Donald J. Trump donate his salary to various charities.

Even if Mr. Mitt Romney were to donate this to The State of Utah......
even that much of an effort on his part could be a positive shift away from a possible "Bear Market 2026 to 2036?"

After all....
if you really believe that a world population of about six and a half BILLION in 2010 must be reduced down to two or three billion people...... then TREES AND PLANTS are an enemy......
because trees and plants would tend to be useful in assisting HUMANS to SURVIVE VS BEING DEPOPULATED?

To an enormous degree I do understand what you mean.....
I do believe that Mr. Mitt Romney has shot himself in the foot over and over and over again in his attempts to prove to be superior to President Donald J. Trump. On the other hand.... President Donald J. Trump is NOT scared of Mr. Mitt Romney and President Trump knows how to use the CONFLICT between him and Romney to set in motion a series of events that could be a win, win, win, win, win, win scenario for ninety nine point nine percent of the residents of Utah......
and win, win, win, win for ninety nine point nine percent of Americans.... [although of course President Trump will get little agreement or support from more than fifty percent of Americans even as he gets this done]!

The will of the people is not expressed through US elections, because it has a system (FPTP) that distorts them.

That's not the case at all.

In Germany they have one Land (state) that has 21% of the population.

They do not dominate politics in Germany.

Essentially in Nordrhein-Westfalen 32.6% voted for CDU (equivalent of the Reps), 24.2% voted SPD (equivalent of the Dems), 9.4% for the AfD (like MAGA/Tea Party), 10.4% for the FDP (like center right), 7.5% for die Linke (a further left party), 7.6% for the Green Party.

So, in the region people vote for what they want. And what they want is far more diverse than a two party system could ever decide.

My prediction would be that if PR entered the US for the House and Senate, that there would be a diversity of political parties trying to get votes from people all over the country. It wouldn't be about certain areas.

Some areas might see more of one party than other areas, but in reality there wouldn't be any control. You'd see political parties joining together to form coalitions which would lead to more cooperation between parties.

Also voters would have more oversight. You can see how quickly people get fed of political parties. The AfD rose in a few years to get a lot of seats, a similar party in the UK (with FPTP like the US) it took them 30 years to get one or two seats.
