With the House vote of 314-117, the bill now heads to the Senate with passage expected by week’s end.

Not even close. Magatards fail again. How did that epic ass kicking from Biden feel.

The entire ''debt ceiling'' argument is a delusion.

There is always more debt in the system than there is currency in existence to pay the debt. This is by design because Keynesians gonna Keynes.

This is the only relevant thing to understand.

The real majority spoke tonight! The moderates.

The single-most greatest threat to Individual liberty and peace and prosperity in America today, I'd add.

All in the name of ''unity,'' of course...

It's weird. Every time the purveyors of the party-of-one in Washington invoke that term, the electorate gets screwed.

WTF are you talking about? Do you even know?

It was a deal negotiated by McCarthy, although the fact that Drmocrats had to and did help McCarthy pass it probably means Democrats got the better end of the deal.

McCarthy had to make a lot of promises to get the Speaker position. His grip on it is not very secure. If it it is a bad deal and gets passed all the way through he may have just forfeited the Speaker position.

Not to take up for Keynes, but he did not envision borrowing during slow times and during boom times. He envisioned paying back during boom times, not making more debt.

But if he were smart, he would have known what would happen. People praise him, because he gives cover for them to spend like their ain't no end.

Maybe he actually did know what would happen. He said, "in the long run we're all dead." Well . . . he is, and his grandchildren and my grandchildren will pay the price.
