Trump. Is. Not. A. Conservative.

Plain snupoke.

For one, Trump has been a liberal for practically all his life up until a few years ago, he was even praising Obama during his first run.

Secondly, he's only faking the funk with conservatives, telling them mostly what they want to hear and/or what he THINKS they want to hear, like all that anti-immigrant claptrap about the wall etc. when he has a long and storied career of using and abusing said immigrants for their cheap labor. However, the rightwing rubs lap that "build a wall" crap up like lemmings.

Lastly, and this is why I practically love the man really, is that Trump have given conservatives medicine that they couldn't take, nor accept before from Democrats, but when he gave it to them, they lapped it up. Namely, that Bush lied us into a war and what THEE dumbest and most reckless thing America has done in modern history. I saw Trump say to the Republicans that "He lied!" and they voted him to now the Republican nominee. Well Democrats have been trying, unsuccessfully, to beat that into their heads for years. Well, Trump did it.

So guess what folks, even if Trump does manage to take Office, which I highly doubt he will, in fact I think he will suffer from a blow-out, but even if he manages to win, liberals still win, because Trump is anything, but a conservative, aka a rabid rightwinger.

But here's the real tell of why I know he's just playing the Republicans for fools. He actually said it. Dig this quote Donald Trump said in 1998...

So don't take MY word for it. He said it himself what he will do, did it and he did it well!

Debunked fallacy.

Donald Trump Said Republicans are the Dumbest Group of Voters-Fiction!

Summary of eRumor:

Back in 1998, Donald Trump said he would run for president as a Republican because they’re the dumbest group of voters in the country and would “eat up” his lies.

The Truth:

Donald Trump never said that Republicans are the dumbest group of voters in the country.

The rumor surfaced on social media sites as the Donald’s bid for the Republican nomination gained momentum. A meme quoted Donald Trump telling People magazine in 1998 that:

“If I were to run, I’d run as a Republican. They’re the dumbest group of voters in the country. They believe anything on Fox News. I could lie and they’d still eat it up. I bet my numbers would be terrific.”

People magazine, 1998

There were scattered reports in People magazine in the late 90s about the Donald possibly running for president, but Trump didn’t call Republicans the “dumbest group of voters in the country” in any of them.

Mostly, those reports centered around Trump deflecting various requests for him to run as president. In December 1998, Trump finally said that he would explore the possibility of running for president, but he didn’t offer any specifics on platform or political party, People reported:

Donald Trump declared Thursday he is moving toward a run for the U.S. presidency. “I will be forming a presidential exploratory committee,” Trump, 53, said on CNN’s “Larry King Live.” The New York real estate developer and New Jersey casino owner said his top choice as a running mate would be Oprah Winfrey. “She is terrific, ” he said. A Winfrey spokesperson said she is not interested. Trump, who claims he’ll pay his own campaign expenses, had dinner with Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura Thursday. Ventura, leader of the Reform Party, has been recruiting Trump for months to seek his party’s nomination — but after the meal the two men joked to reporters that they were throwing their support behind their dinner companion, actor Woody Harrelson.

The quote makes even less considering that Trump talked about running on the Reform Party (the party that Ross Perot had previously run for) ticket in the late 90s. The Donald said he was a registered Republican but described himself as a centrist on Larry King Live. When asked why he would leave the Republican party, Trump replied:

I think that nobody is really hitting it right. The Democrats are too far left. I mean, Bill Bradley, this is seriously left; he’s trying to come a little more center, but he’s seriously left. The Republicans are too far right. And I don’t think anybody’s hitting the cord, not the cord that I want hear, and not the cord that other people want to hear, and I’ve seen it.

Plus, I think there’s a great lack of spirit in this country. You know, what happened over the last four years is disgusting, and I just think there’s a tremendous lack of spirit, and I think the spirit has to be brought back.

Interestingly, the Donald described George W. Bush, the governor of Texas at the time, as a “moderate” candidate.

So, there’s no record that Trump ever said Republicans are the dumbest group of voters in the country. Also, that seems to be at odds with moderate political views at the time.

Despite People's comprehensive online content archive, we found no interview or profile on Donald Trump in 1998 (or any other time) that quoted his saying anything that even vaguely resembled the words in this meme. Trump appeared somewhat regularly in the magazine's pages before he came to star on The Apprentice, but the bulk of the magazine's celebrity-driven coverage of him back then centered on his marriages to, and divorces from, Ivana Trump and Marla Maples.

OK, aside from the, let's say, fake, quote from 1998 my argument still stands.

Trump is no conservative.

Liberals win either way.

Just keep in mind, sorry to have to say it again, but, if Trump wins this election it's all on the Democrats for nominating Hillary Clinton.

White people are far more left wing than other voting groups.
Is there a point in there somewhere?
Republican's have a mostly white electorate, and that electorate is about as left wing as the rest of white America(very left wing).

The only reason why Republicans have a prayer of winning anything running on even a modestly Conservative platform is because Democrats are anti-white pieces of crap and white social liberals end up voting for Republicans in respectable numbers because of this.

If Democrats would just drop the race bullshit and the moronic attack on the 1st and 2nd amendments they could easily get 80% of the vote in a midterm election.

Debunked quote is debunked....

That's OK, because from his track record, even if he didn't say that, he was thinking it all along. That's why he said he loves the under-educated voters. Tongue in cheek. He manipulates so well that his bloated ego was as high as a kite during the entire primary season. He and Giuliani are rabid liberals to their core. Get ready cuz "New York values" are coming to every corner of America if this turd wins...which he won't of course...

The problem is that your party is so far to the left of Trump's center-left governance that you are going to lose a huge chunk of the remaining moderate Democrats once the giant strawman you created is destroyed by Trump himself.

If Trump can break into the black wall of Democrat voters, your party is literally the new Whigs.

Like I said...liberals win, because Amnesty Don is no conservative.

Thanks for conceding that.
