I am new to this forum. I joined at the behest of a gentleman who I respect a great deal. He posts on this forum as Optmst.

I enjoy trading. I have used various techniques over the years - some have worked better than others. I have finally settled upon a trading methodology that works better than anything else I have tried - and I have tried MANY. RSI, Stochs, MACD, Aroon, ADX, Bollingers, Pivots, Hidden Pivots, Ichimoku clouds, etc... They are all very inconsistent in their predictive abilities. Sometimes they work - sometimes they dont...

I am keenly interested in geo-political happenings, monetary and fiscal policies as they have a significant impact on the day to day market movements.

I am married to a beautiful wife, have 4 children (the oldest of which is convinced I am wrong about everything I say).

Anyways - looking forward to participating; learning as well as sharing. Hopefully we will all benefit from the exchange.
