So, it is clear that diplomacy only works with adversaries that act in good faith. It is part of Iran's religious leadership not to act in good faith. So, just pussyfooting around with bad faith diplomacy accomplishes nothing. It will be used as a tool for stalling while working to get the capability with nuclear missiles they desire.

Stalling and covert arming is what Germany did after World War 1, and we saw what that led to. I don’t like regime change policies, but I do not know what other avenues could be pursued.
