Here is a list of hate groups for all 50 states. I'm sure all are not listed for each state, but it's a start. It got me to thinking about why someone would join a "hate group." What is it that they hate so much I wonder?

many of these groups simply claim they are defending the white culture...i never knew if i were white i had to hate a bunch of people...i thought that was only if you were mean and stupid

Hate groups will always exist, and as long as there are freedoms in our country for people, they can always exist. Many are using a specific group as an excuse to lash out due to feelings of inferiority or a desire to oppress others thinking they actually would have a better chance in life if they did. In reality, they are weak people with no sense of self worth.

But, it's their right as long as they do not infringe on other peoples right to hate them back.

The Hammerskins idealize those they consider historical warriors for the Aryan race, such as Vikings and Nazis. well, I guess the members of these groups don't think they are hate groups, right? Have you researched any of the links of the ones listed? I did one, because I had never heard of it, and even posted some of the info about them a few posts up. Do you think they are a hate group, or just misunderstood?

Actually I noticed the same thing WJ. They went as far as to list the NAAWP and the KKK, but not the NAACP and the Black Panthers.

The list is a one sided sham, a joke.
