The Western world is a bunch of assholes, liars and hypocrites who finance and support wars, dictators, radical groups and fake elections for their own benefit. That is without a doubt.

Opposition fighters in Syria, in an unprecedented move, have totally taken over numerous cities, in a highly coordinated offensive, and are now on the outskirts of
Damascus, obviously preparing to make a very big move toward taking out Assad. Russia, because they are so tied up in Ukraine, and with the loss there of over 600,000 soldiers, seems incapable of stopping this literal march through Syria, a country they have protected for years. This is where former President Obama refused to honor his commitment of protecting the RED LINE IN THE SAND, and all hell broke out, with Russia stepping in. But now they are, like possibly Assad himself, being forced out, and it may actually be the best thing that can happen to them. There was never much of a benefit in Syria for Russia, other than to make Obama look really stupid. In any event, Syria is a mess, but is not our friend, & THE UNITED STATES SHOULD HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH IT. THIS IS NOT OUR FIGHT. LET IT PLAY OUT. DO NOT GET INVOLVED!

"Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz visited Mount Bental in the Golan Heights this morning (Sunday), an observation point facing the Syrian border. The head of the Golan Regional Council, Uri Kellner, also participated in the visit.
Netanyahu referred to Assad's downfall as "a historic day in the history of the Middle East. The collapse of the Assad regime, the tyrannical rule in Damascus, offers great opportunity but also is fraught with significant dangers. This collapse is the direct result of our forceful action against Hezbollah and Iran, Assad's main supporters. It set off a chain reaction of all those who want to free themselves from this tyranny and its oppression."
He added: "But it also means that we have to take action against possible threats. One of them is the collapse of the Separation of Forces Agreement from 1974 between Israel and Syria. This agreement held for 50 years. Last night, it collapsed. The Syrian army abandoned its positions. We gave the Israeli army the order to take over these positions to ensure that no hostile force embeds itself right next to the border of Israel. This is a temporary defensive position until a suitable arrangement is found."
The Prime Minister then turned to the people of Syria, stating: "Equally, we send a hand in peace to all those beyond our border in Syria: to the Druze, to the Kurds, to the Christians, and to the Muslims who want to live in peace with Israel. The "General Command of the Syrian opposition" declared no restrictions on women´s clothing.
If such a declaration will survive remains to be seen. Sharia law is the legal base in Idlib.

The General Command said in a statement that "we affirm that personal freedom is guaranteed to all, and that respect for the rights of individuals is the basis for building a civilized homeland.""

Idlib Caliph now interim Prime Minister of Syria, forms new government.
"The leadership of the Syrian armed opposition decided to assign the head of the Salvation Government operating in Idlib, Mohammed al-Bashir, to form a transitional government in Syria.
The opposition representative told Novosti that members of groups that came to power in Syria were discussing "the issue of a smooth transfer of power and avoiding chaos" in the country.
He added that there was a meeting between the head of Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham, Ahmed al-Sharaa, Syrian Prime Minister Mohammed al-Jalali, and the head of the Salvation Government operating in Idlib, Mohammed al-Bashir, to determine steps to transfer power and prevent chaos in Syria.
Jalali had earlier announced that it had been agreed with the Syrian armed opposition on the importance of preserving the country's institutions, noting that he was ready for any measure to hand over power.
The armed opposition factions announced the overthrow of the Assad regime, after entering the city of Damascus and the withdrawal of Syrian army units from the capital, and Bashar al-Assad fled to Moscow with his family members, where Russia granted them asylum and protection."

Kurds withdraw from places, Ankara-led Islamists take over.
"Reuters reported, quoting a source in the Syrian opposition, that the United States of America and Turkey agreed to withdraw the SDF forces from the city of Manbah in northern Syria, after the opposition factions announced the overthrow of the Assad regime.
A Syrian opposition source familiar with the matter said Kurdish fighters "have withdrawn from the city and still have to withdraw from other areas."
The agency also quoted a Turkish security source as saying that Syrian opposition groups, backed by Ankara, had earlier taken control of the city of Manbij.
The city of Manbij was under the control of the SDF, and battles took place during the past days between the SDF and the Turkish-backed National Army."
