Greenland says they don't want to join America

I care for the well-being of America with its people. I am here too. Yet America taking Greenland will be an act of aggression, just in the same way as any other acts of aggression among nations, such as Germany taking Poland, or Israel taking land separate from it of the Palestinian people. California, the state I am in, should threaten to leave the US if America will still do it, and I think other countries should go to war against America in response for such aggression and for defense of Greenland. Greenland does not belong to the US and that is not the way to change that.

Greenland is a 1-2 million year old "baby ice age" and those who stay on it will eventually get pushed off by the advancing growing ice age.

Can you link to anything where the US talked about invading Greenland and taking it by force?

America used to be the Good Guys

Sorry but "I never rule anything out" and threatening to invade a country aren't the same thing.

If you ask me if I'm ever going to shoot you and I say I never rule anything out, that's not the same as me telling you I'm going to shoot you.

It may not be threatening to do it “per se”, but it is talking about it, which is what you asked.

That said, if someone said “I have to have your car and I’m going to get your car” and then said “I’m not ruling out shooting you to take your car”, then you’d rightly interpret that as a threat.

He's "talking about it" because the media asked the question and they got the sound byte they were fishing for.

This all started because Trump talked about purchasing Greenland/offering to bring them in as a protectorate from the Danes during his first term I believe. When those were rebuffed and he was asked about it when he came back into office and he said he thought we would get Greenland "one way or the other", which then had every news outlet talking like the US was amassing troops on the East coast preparing to invade Greenland. This the problem with the media and people like you going high and to the right parsing every word out of Trump's mouth, and hearing what you want to hear.

The same thing to do is to say “we aren’t going to invade Greenland”.

Honestly, I think he’s just testing society to find out how what’s the craziest shit he can say and still have cultists like you defend him.

I guess. I think it's the "you dont take anything off the table" negotiation tactic frankly, and to be clear no one in the administration brought up invading Greenland that was the media.

Yeah I'm the "cultist" because I don't believe everything you/the media says when it's easily disproven...

BTW if you pay attention, I routinely criticize Trump when he does dumb shit (which is often). Just because I call you and your ilk out on your dumb shit doesnt mean I dont call out other people was well.

They sure as hell implied it, based on the "one way or the other" line. That's distinctly implying force, unless you're totally ignorant. Invasion is an insane negotiation tactic when it comes to discussing things with your allies. Annexing Greenland was already insane, but we seem to have forgotten that already.

Your a cultist because your narrative can't be disproven no matter what Trump says. He says batshit crazy things and you just find any way possible to bend reality to make it look okay.

You asked when he talked about invading Greenland and I showed you. Then you started making excuses.

Trump just floods the zone with shit. That's his power.

He might be so dumb and arrogant that his absurd and tyrannical actions bring down the US Empire. He would then go down in history as one of our greatest presidents…by accident.

It’s a dark thought, but it would lead to a much better world.

This is what I'm talking about. That's not implying force, you are inferring it because of who said it and you wanting Trump to be a bully/dictator.

I dont have a narrative. If Trump had threatened to invade Greenland I would criticize him for it, your problem is he didn't, you just want him to have done so.

Fair. My question was ill framed. I should have asked when the administration actually threatened to invade Greenland. As I have pointed out the narrative that Trump was going to invade Greenland was a media creation.

It's definitely implying force. Don't be delusional.

Sure you would have. Why don't you criticize him for refusing to rule it out?

He first implied and then refused to rule it out. That's insane and Trump knows exactly what he's doing.
