GOP worried about fallout from Trump's comments

San Francisco Refused To Turn Illegal Alien Over To ICE And He Just Murdered A Woman
Kate Steinle was walking along San Francisco’s Pier 14 on Wednesday with her father and a friend when a man shot her for no apparent reason. She died at the hospital. This random murder is terrible tragedy, but the story takes a horrific turn. The man accused of pulling the trigger is an illegal alien with 7 felony convictions who has been deported 5 times. Making matters worse, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) had placed a hold on him a few months ago for a 6th deportation but San Francisco sheriffs refused the order and let him free to kill an innocent women. San Francisco Refused To Turn Illegal Alien Over To ICE And He Just Murdered A Woman Downtrend

Yet another murder of an innocent for which the Ideological Left is 100% responsible and for which they will reject any sense of responsibility.

The fun part is he is forcing other Republicans to make a stand
Do they side with Trump or defend Mexicans?

lose/lose either way

What trump said is true. Mexico is not sending its doctors, teachers, engineers, and police across our border, it is sending its very poor, criminals, and druggies. It is also true that many girls are raped in the process of crossing our border illegally.

Trump did not denigrate all Mexicans, he only told the truth about the ones entering this country illegally.

BTW, mexican is NOT a race.

Most of the Mexicans I have met are hard working, religious with strong family ties. They are here to make a better life for themselves and their families......like most immigrants

The hate being spewed by Trump has been around for over 100 years. The same comments were used against the Irish, Itallian, Chinese and any new group of immigrants.

I agree with you on most mexicans. But the Irish, Italians, and Chinese came here LEGALLY. That is the difference.

No one has an issue with limited legal immigration, that is what makes this country strong. Illegal immigration and tolerance of illegal immigration makes us weak in many ways.

The ILLEGAL is the problem, not the immigrants.
Legal status has nothing to do with the hate filled rhetoric used by Trump

It is nothing new. The same tactic has been used for a hundred years to turn people against recent immigrants. They are dirty, uneducated, criminals to be feared and driven from your community

Nothing he said was hate filled. He merely stated facts about crimes being committed by illegal aliens in this country. Telling the truth is not hating. Lying like you do every day is hate filled.
Republicans only got 30% of the Hispanic vote in 2012

Defending asshole haters like Trump will leave you with 10%

The problem with those comments is made worse by the fact that people will continue to confuse Trump with a Republican, which he is not, as opposed to thinking of him as an entertainer, which he is."

The GOP better not antagonize Trump. He will run as a third party candidate. That would doom the GOP nominee, WHICH WILL NOT BE TRUMP!

I love Trump for president. I would love to see Donald and Hillary in a debate....lol. Wondering how many voters would sit out the general election if it were between the two....lol
Hillary would get 60% of the vote

wanna bet? she will always get the 40% that would vote for her if she pissed in their coffee. the rest are up for grabs.
Not if Trump is doing the grabbing

Hillary would get 450 electoral votes against Trump

Every time I see this thread I laugh. Trump simply believes in what most Republicans believe. It's who they are.

Sorry, Donald Trump Has A Point
“When Mexico sends its people,” Trump said, “they’re not sending their best.”

This is obviously correct.
Immigrants here from Mexico — which has sent more immigrants than any other country for decades — have the lowest levels of education. Nearly 60 percent of them haven’t graduated from high school. Only about 10 percent have some college and nearly 6 percent have a bachelor’s degree or higher.

By way of comparison, the situation of immigrants from Korea, for instance, is almost exactly reversed. More than 50 percent of them have a bachelor’s degree or higher, and less than 4 percent failed to earn a high school diploma.
Fifty-four percent of immigrants from Mexico lack health insurance. A higher proportion of Mexican immigrants uses means-tested government programs than immigrants from any other country—more than 57 percent. As Camarota notes, this is “even higher than for refugee-sending countries like Russia and Cuba.” Sorry Donald Trump Has A Point - Rich Lowry - POLITICO Magazine

You may be right. He might win even win some Primaries with his very disturbing stances, but he would not survive the General.

But we can only hope.........the GOP chooses him.

You are so brainwashed that you can't pick up the first and simplest statement Trump made was cause to charge him with either stupidity, guilty of being misinformed or an outright liar. Mexico is not "sending" people. Mexicans are coming across the borders, but they are not being sent to do it by the Mexican government or some kind of special commission in Mexico that is hand picking who stays and who goes. Even you are echoing the talking point by referring to Mexicans coming to America as being "sent" by some authority. Trump or you could be saying almost the same exact thing by saying they are "coming across the border" instead of saying they are being sent. Propaganda is the use of words and one word can make a huge difference, as in this case. Coming to America indicates individual choice and sent indicates a conspiracy.

Golly...

Well, now isn't that precious?

It's as if the point were 'MEXICO IS SENDING" Mexicans... instead of INDIGENT MEXICANS ARE FLOODING OVER OUR BORDER, by the MILLIONS and the SOCIO-HOMO Cult is setting them on the public dole and licensing them to VOTE.

Dumbass says what Mexico Made a Deal to Send More Illegal Immigrants to the US John Hawkins Right Wing News
The presidents of Mexico and Guatemala, Enrique Pena Nieto and Otto Perez Molina, just held a press conference announcing how exactly they were facilitating the illegal invasion into the United States by their countrymen.

And Read it Only at Right Wing News!....cause they are the ones that fabricated it and they are the ones that wrote it! GOTCHA!

And after you believe that, you can also believe that Rush fled the country after Obamacare survived for five years, as he promised. Liars reporting on Liars....

Know what would be funny?

The Democrats select someone besides Hillary, and 2016 turns into 2008 all over again.

And why does Mexico bitch and moan every time it seems we might get serious about the border.....after all we only want same thing they do....secure borders........makes ya go hhhhmmmmmmm

Republicans got 27% of the Hispanic vote in 2012

They swore they would do better in 2016. With Trump as one of their leading candidates, it does not look promising

That you take Trump seriously shows how self deluded you are. Most people are actually smarter than you are
