GOP has 60% chance of taking back Senate in 2014

Irrelevant.

Assuming that the figure is correct, the GOP will do so by adopting the democrats policies - more welfare/warfare police state tactics.

So they are not an opposition party - the Republican Party Surrender Caucus will merge - NOT OPPOSE - the democrats.

If they were to become an actual opposition party then there chances of taking the Senate will be reduced from slim to none.

.

Nobody will vote for an extreme conservative or libertarian.....get over it

probably not, and that is too bad, because the country is going down the tubes with both parties leaning left.

there is more to this than winning elections. This is about saving our country. It may be too late, but we should not give up.

I think a problem many libertarians and conservatives have is thinking that someone who does what we want 60% of the time is a traitor. Here are some facts. If we get the Senate back in GOP hands, we will be able to unseat Harry Reid and pass some of the GOP House's legislation, including cut/cap/balance, the Keystone XL pipeline, ANWR drilling, and dozens of other job creating proposals.

Yes, the GOP isn't perfect. But if anything, they're getting more conservative. No Republican voted for Obamacare. 40 years ago, I think there would've been some liberal Republicans who would've supported it considering how many voted for the Great Society.

I will vote Libertarian.

That a socialist like Comrade Starkiev claims to be a middle of the road republican is telling.

Extreme fascism/socialism is good, extreme capitalism/liberty is bad.

Every politically controlled educational system will inculcate the doctrine of state supremacy sooner or later. . . . Once that doctrine has been accepted, it becomes an almost superhuman task to break the stranglehold of the political power over the life of the citizen. It has had his body, property and mind in its clutches from infancy. An octopus would sooner release its prey. A tax-supported, compulsory educational system is the complete model of the totalitarian state.

40 years ago we had real Republicans .......not these rebranded John Birchers

60% and improving. Once the employer health plans start passing along the increases costs of the "affordable care act" to their employees and/or dropping them entirely, every Democrat seat in Congress will be in play. This is a clusterfuck of epic proportions. Democrat congress critters are retiring in droves......

That is correct.

We will not change our platform to accommodate the parasitic faction. Enjoy your benefits while they lasts.

Here's the thing though. Wouldn't you rather shrink government at least some as opposed to increase its size?

We need incremental change to reduce the size of government. I want to see Social Security/Medicare privatized and returned to the states. Eventually, I hope this will lead to both programs being phased out and destroyed as people realize they'd do better if they could keep more of their own money. With regards to public schools, we need to implement vouchers/school choice and go from there.

America is sick of Teddy Cruzer and friends shutting down the Government.

R.I.P. GOP 2014 midterms.

NO !! just you retarded liberscum are "SICK" period.

liberalism is a mental disorder, not contagious, but can be spread by mouth to ear resonance. :clap2: .... :lmao:
Indeed.

Anyone who thinks the GOP is "doomed" in 2014 is ignorant of history.

The GOP --as a brand may not be doomed - but what they used to represent prior to 1935 is finished.

The Republican Party (surrender caucus) will use a shell game in order to perpetrate the fraud that they are still an opposition party when in fact they will adopt the entire democratic party platform.

.

You can count on a full court press from the tax exempt Media Matters and their army of investigators as well as the comedy channel jerks who pretend to be news analysts and of course the so-called main-stream media to keep the Hussein administration afloat.

Now that Boehner is willing to negotiate with the Dems, we may well get an immigration reform bill, which will lead to the GOP taking the Senate.

I would put it at 90%

My probabilities factor in the fact that the candidate could Akin or Mourdock himself with a stupid comment. For instance, if the election were held today, polling shows that Kay Hagan and Mark Pryor would both get crushed. However, I'm giving them 40% and 25% chances respectively of holding on due to the possibility of their opponents saying something stupid or some unforeseen event.

The idiot at the front against Hagan has already compared food stamps to slavery..:cuckoo:
