GOP could care less about jobs!

IF it keeps fuckers like you and the people pictured below. You fuckers hide behind the working class and cause nothing but death and destruction. FUCK YOU!

WE CARE ABOUT FREEDOM AND LIBERTY!!!

Wipe the foam from your mouth and pay attention, genius. The GOP wailed for months that the President doesn't have a job plan that is desperately needed...so the President says hey, I've got one, and I would like to a joint session address to tell it to you guys before you get down to business when you come back from vacation. And in the first time in nearly a century the Speaker of the House REJECTS the Presidents initial request to reschedule.

So evidently, jobs are not that much of a priority with the GOP. Remember bunky, it was Boehner that said if maintaining the Bush tax cuts means screwing off 200,000 federal jobs created, "so be it". His words, not mines or any liberals, Dems. or Progressives.

Deal with reality and grow the fuck up, Matthew.

You really think Obama giving a speech a day or two earlier is going to effect the jobs picture in this country? If Obama waited another 6 months it wouldn't have any effect on the jobs picture because he is incapable of producing a workable proposal. He merely tries the same things over and over.
We'll see when he gives the speech. It will be more proposals for infrastructure spending and targeted tax cuts--both of which have been utter failures.
He is commandante Zero, zero jobs, zero ideas.

If the Obama was so worried about jobs, why DIDN'T HE CANCEL his vacation to WORK on his BIG PLAN? He could of got one of his lapdog media stations to give him air time to announce his BIG PLAN, he has never needed all of CONGRESS there before. this is all another ploy by him. If the Republicans DENY him more of the monies he's going to asking for, they will BE ABLE TO BLAME REPUBLICANS.

He already GAVE us one JOBS plan, THAT WAS called a STIMULIS.... IT ROBBED US OF billions of dollars and UNEMPLOYMENT got worse.

Nobody want's to hear MORE OF THE SAME, We all know what he is going to say....HE needS MORE MONEY for SHOVEL READY JOBS, but he PROMISES, this TIME IT WILL WORK, really.

Barry has had nearly three years to focus on 'jobs'. He blew it off and left Nan, Harry and Co. to shove Obamacare, Stimuless, Ominibus, Big Black Bus, etc. down our throats. Now he wants to talk jobs? And they say the GOP are the ones campaigning.

Of course. The conservative GOP representatives have never been about the people. Rather, it's all about the greed. Always has been. On another matter, I've always found it interesting that so-called devout Christians keep backing the greed mongering right-wing republicans, rather than candidates that are totally in favor of the poor and down-trodden. Clearly, they're not real Christians. Jesus would be ashamed of them, of that we can be assured. One thing certain, when their time comes, it's not upward they'll be going.

Well better then backing a system of government that slaughters hundreds of millions of its own people, and works to centralize all the power into the hands of a few.

Mao.jpg

What better way to help the poor and the worker then to have a healthy and free economy based on freedom. A system that has worked for hundreds of years and made this world 100 times more wealthy everywhere it is tried. It is NOT perfect, but it is the best we have.

I do hope you're just a goof and not seriously THIS ignorant of the history of your country. You seem hell bent on equating any criticism of the neocon/teabagger driven GOP with some insidious communist plot. How silly of you to do so, as it's the words of the leadership you hold so dear that condemns YOU to unemployment and a low level economic class status. Boehner doesn't care about jobs....he said so publically. It's all about the Bush tax cuts for the rich....and YOU, my dear Matthew, are NOT in that class. Deal with it..

So on the FIRST DAY that the Congress and Senate come back from vacation, the President wants to schedule a joint session to address them on his new proposed plan for creating jobs in America ASAP.

The President submits the formal request to the Majority Speaker of the House of Representatives....and about 4 hours later is told that ANOTHER time would be more convenient due to "security arrangement" matters and the like.

Since the early 1900's when President's started making actual visits to the House to address them, NO PRESIDENT'S REQUEST HAS EVER BEEN DENIED UNTIL NOW.

Interesting that the very political party that has been wailing for months that they are waiting for the President to present a plan for jobs in America SUDDENLY can't fit the President of the USA in for a quick address.

Now if one is to believe the GOP's favorite pundit Rush Limbaugh, Speaker Boehner rejected the initial request date in order to put Obama "in his place" and not let the President have the upper hand as taking a leadership position....especially since it would coincide with the first scheduled GOP Presidential candidacy debate.

This is just another example to the American people that the GOP is NOT about the general welfare of the people, but about the corporate welfare and secured economic greed of the wealthiest 1 to 3% of the population.
Oh please. Obama and his crew knew damned well there was a GOP presidential campaing debate scheduled LONG in advance of his suggestion to speak before a joint session of Congress.
Can you give a good solid reason why the Congress and the American people would want to through a 45 minute campaign speech under the guise of doing something no one in government can do which is force the private sector to hire people with nothing of substance.
Obama may as well use his time a bit better and go out to try to save his political base.
He's not going to get anywhere if he intends on introducing another federal spending plan.
It's not going to happen.

So the President of the United States....leader of the Free World....sends a request to the Speaker of the House for a joint session address on the very subject that the Speaker's party has been screaming about for months....that the country needs a plan from the President about jobs in America.....and when the President wants to address that very issue on their first day back from vacation, the Speaker says oh sorry, but tonight my party is having it's first of about a dozen debates for the candidate we're going to run against you in November next year....so that takes precedent over your plan/presentation to the House and Senate on jobs as the country is on the brink of a recession/depression.

For nearly a century, despite wars and depressions, despite bitter adversarial stances, no party has refused the courtesy and protocol of allowing the President to address the house and senate when he requested it....until now.

Give me a fucking break with your neocon/teabagger parroting of Limbaugh's bilge. The GOP has ONCE AGAIN demonstrated that it's not about jobs for America but about maintaining the status quo and an ideology that is hell bent of creating some type of permanent economic caste system. Boehner has stated if this ideology costs 200,000 jobs so be it....Cantor, DeMint have stated it's all about stonewalling, discrediting and demeaning the Obama administration...and you had some fool GOP rep claiming that working people are just a commodity for corporations to trade on the stock market.

You need to check yourself, bunky. Not only is there no spoon, but no brain as well.

I assure you, Matthew, The Republicans learned a lesson from the huge white paper delivered to be passed by Democrats in Congress before 2010. It was a horrendous bill, and nobody had time to read and understand everything about it because it was too long and devised by people greedy to micromanage every aspect of people's lives and foist a failed system of micromanagement by the federal government of things only states and districts should finance and govern.

All of us are torn by claims of foul play when it comes to taking care of the health care of children and people in poor families. The only trouble is, the level of poverty today in America includes people who own 3-bedroom homes, 2 cars, 2 color tvs, computers, washer, dryer, refrigerator, stove--people who in the 50s were considered upper middle class.

We need a balance, but it's a mistake for a party to elect only extremists like Obama and Pelosi to guide a party who makes the rules or makes big splashes on the news about the alleged heartless people on the other side of the aisle, which is also not true.

We need to get a grip and stop electing extremists and get back to electing regular people from among us who we think will represent not only us but our country in a way that is beneficent to all Americans.

That's a difficult balance in its best light.

Where in the hell do you neocon/teabagger parrots get the bullshit that you spew here from? Perhaps the most absurd thing said here was this:

The only trouble is, the level of poverty today in America includes people who own 3-bedroom homes, 2 cars, 2 color tvs, computers, washer, dryer, refrigerator, stove--people who in the 50s were considered upper middle class.

Is this absurdity culled from some valid source material, or did you just pull it out of your ass in a fit of parrot rage, Becki?

Bottom line: Boehner stated in no uncertain terms that if stone walling Obama means killing 200,000 newly created federal jobs, so be it. Then he breaks nearly a century of polite, rational political discourse within the gov't by REFUSING the initial date for the President to discuss his new plan...what Boehner's party has been wailing for all this past months.

Boehner's full of shit, and so are you Becki....the difference is Boehner doesn't care about screwing you over...and you're too damned dumb to either acknowledge it or recognize it.

Why is obama tring to shut down another American made busniess?

Gibson Guitar told by the feds they should leave America.

Please provide the exact quote by what federal agency and under what circumstances where what you state here is valid reporting.

Also, you may want to talk to the Big 3 in the auto industry about your concern that Obama is trying to "shut down" American business.....they may have a different story to tell you.

Deal with reality: Boehner and company has once again demonstrated it's not about American jobs for them, but to beat Obama and keep those tax cuts for the rich. Grow up and deal, Reb.

Come on tai/chi you know why Barry scheduled his speech on a particular day. It was a dirty trick that democrats used to get away with back in the days when there was no fair and balanced media and Cronkite was king. Times have changed but democrats seem stuck in the 60's. Anyway it ain't about jobs. Barry had two years with a super majority and couldn't seem to get his act together. Democrats have had a majority in congress for four years including the collapse of Fannie Mae but all they do is whine about the 7 month old 112 Congress. Think about this while you are meditating during your tai/chi class. Government jobs to not grow the economy. They only transfer confiscated taxpayer money from one segment of society to another. The private sector generates money and recently it seems that democrats have become hostile to the concept

You are chock full of the half truths and total bullshit that can be heard on Limbaugh's show.

Back in Cronkite's day, NO SPEAKER of any party refused the President's request for an address to the House or a joint session. Not for nearly a century, no matter how much each party hated each other, despite wars, despite depression.

But the neocon/teabagger GOP, who wailed for months on end that the country needs the President to give them a jobs plan, suddenly say it's not that important because WE have to have our first debate for a candidate to run against you in 2012, and that's MORE important on the FIRST DAY BACK FROM VACATION.

Government jobs don't grow the economy? Maybe you should take a refresher coarse on the WPA, genius....or did they teach that to you in school?

I could waste time deconstructing your often repeated neocon/teabagger mantras that have been tried an failed, but just highlighting your ignorance on the history of this subject plus your denial of the chain of events is enough. Carry on.

theres been like 8 threads on this, really, we have a search function, true story;)

So why waste your time and mine posting this whiny bullshit of yours? Next time, save yourself the trouble...because I'm going to post whether you like it or not....and if YOU can't debate worth a damn, that's your problem.

Barry had two years with a super majority and couldn't seem to get his act together.

Not true. Democrats had a super majority in numbers only. Blue Dogs kept it from being a functional super majority.

So what you're saying is that there was something wrong with obama's plan since he couldn't get all the democrats on board?

No stupid, he's saying that the modern day version of Dixiecrats were against Obama.....add that they didn't have a lock majority in the Senate and the Republicans went batshit crazy with filibusters, and it's a miracle anything got done at all.

Until now, no President has had this size of deficit. Other than Carte, until now no president has presided over an economy this bad with absolutely no clue how to turn it around. GOP and the Dems BOTH ONLY care about votes. Dems had from 07 to 10 to figure out the deficit problems so enough with the "it's all because of the GOP.

Stephanie, you are one incredibly willfully ignorant neocon parrot.

Only a complete neocon asshole would squawk foolishness that a stimulus plan "robbed" us of jobs....YOU can't provide valid proof of that, Stephanie, but you'll squawk it to the end of time.

Ask the big 3 auto industries if the stimulus was a failure....ask all the Red states that took stimulus money to keep themselves afloat if the stimulus was a failure.

Yeah, obama was on vacation.....AND SO WAS THE CONGRESS, YOU TWIT! This is why he requested the address on their first day back....to give the GOP what they've been screaming for...a job plan from the President.

But in true BS fashion, Boehner just couldn't let Obama have any semblence of competency or leadership....so he breaks a century of courtesy and protocol and blows him off!

Fucking GOP hypocrits....Boehner doesn't give a damn about YOU Steph...you're not rich. Deal with it.

Wahh
Wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

WahhHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Thus Crusader Frank demonstrates the mentality that makes it easy for Boehner and company to piss on him with carefree abandon. Frankie just grins and opens his mouth wider, because in his limited mentality the GOP is stopping THOSE people (fill in the blank) from winning, and that's okay by him.

Does anyone really think that this country will be awash in good paying jobs once Barry finishes reading off the teleprompter?
What is the likelihood of his saying anythng that he hasn't said before that will lead to job creation?
The only think he can say that would spur the economy is:
"I've really screwed up here. I resign. I am sorry, America."

Notice that all the other good little neocon/teabagger toadies, the Rabbi doesn't acknowledge the sheer hypocrisy of Boehners actions, but instead puts forth supposition and conjecture about an address that hasn't happened yet.

Fucking intellectual coward, our Rabbi.

Krauthammer: “Obama Is ‘President Zero’ – Zero Economic Expansion, Zero Jobs, Zero Ideas” (Video)
Posted by Jim Hoft on Sunday, September 4, 2011, 12:51 AM

After the dismal jobs report Charles Krauthammer told the FOX News All Stars on Friday night, “Obama Is President Zero – zero economic expansion, zero jobs, zero ideas on how to cure the economy.”

Krauthammer went on to say the president’s speech on Thursday is a campaign speech.
“He doesn’t understand that his administration has stopped the economy in its tracks.”

Krauthammer: “Obama Is ‘President Zero’ – Zero Economic Expansion, Zero Jobs, Zero Ideas” (Video) | The Gateway Pundit

Krauthammer should ask the Big 3 about that....or the 200,000 new employees, or the Red states that took all that stimulus money....but hey, if it weren't for Fox News and willfully ignorant clowns like Stephanie here, Krauthammer would have no audience.

MATTHEW....Personally, I'm a Centrist. I believe in elements of both sides. Just not extremes of either.
However, socialism isn't a step toward communism. Most of the European nations are socialist, yet the public is free to vote for whom they please. They can also own property and become rich. It's just that because their governments are socialist in nature, the public has a safety-net, should they need it. I see nothing wrong with ensuring that your people are taken care of. Afterall, they've supported their governments all their lives. Once elderly or unable to do, it is only fair that their government support them.
For the US, I believe in social security and medicare. If you've worked all your life supporting the capitalist system, I don't think it's asking too much for the government to return the favor when you are unable to do so, or having difficulty taking care of yourself. All people in their nation, should have access to health care, nutritious food and a clean, comfortable place to sleep. To not believe so, is to be less than human.

You may not have noticed but Europe is collapsing because of it's 'Socialism Lite' ideology. And - because of its ridiculous controlling attitudes towards their citizens - the far right parties are on the rise. Last time that happened, the outcome was not good. For anyone.

Also, that crap about 'all people in their nation' (FYI: Europe is not one nation) having 'access to health care, nutritious food and a clean, comfortable place to sleep'.... that is total, utter, fucking bullshit.

That European utopia that you think exists - it doesn't. Their problems are as bad - actually worse - than ours. Idiot.

You leave out the FACT that the crime committed by our banks toxic packages sold on the international market played a HUGE role in the EU's current problems. But if the EU collapses, the individual countries will go back to their systems and trade...and CHINA will STILL have us by the short hairs.

All this does NOT change the FACT about Boehner's hypocrisy.

You see that, that's the world's tiniest violin playing....

The president was trying to pull a cheap stunt, you know, like a community organizer showing up at a groundbreaking and asking "Where's the jobs for da community". He knew the GOP Debate was going to be that night, and he wanted to upstage 9 guys getting on the stage pointing out how badly he's failed on this issue.

There was no real reason why he needed to have it on THAT day other than he wanted in on that day so he could upstage the other guy's message. Instead, he made himself look weak and petty.

Only a complete partisan asshole would categorize the President of the USA requesting a joint session to address the problem that the GOP have been clamoring for as a "cheap stunt".

That latter description is Boehner's domain, as he breaks nearly a century of protocol to appease the teabagging asshole ideologues. A fucking GOP primary candidate debate is NOT on par with the President giving the House and Senate a plan to save/create jobs in this economic climate. Who the hell are you trying to sell that BS to?

The only petty and weak people are Boehner, Cantor, DeMint and King...who have all expressed the "fuck you" attitude towards the American worker and middle class.

This is just another example to the American people that the GOP is NOT about the general welfare of the people, but about the corporate welfare and secured economic greed of the wealthiest 1 to 3% of the population.

But you're not greedy, of course, when you expect to have a piece of the wealth owned by the top 1 to 3% of the population even though you didn't lift a finger to earn it, right? :eusa_whistle:

You're not too bright, are you Bro? Because if Warren Buffet is telling you that his secretary is paying more taxes than he is and that's unfair, then how in the world do you equate Buffet "earning" all that wealth off of investments in the product of labor that he didn't lift a finger to earn? Or that why should our tax dollars pay for companies to export jobs to foreign countries.

You're such a fucking moron, Bro....Boehner shits on you and you gladly open your mouth wider, thinking it's an ideological victory.

Suck on this -

Black unemployment rate: Highest since 1984 - Sep. 2, 2011

Courtesy of 8 years of Shrub economics and a filibuster crazy GOP. YOU can suck on that bit of reality, jackass...because Boehner doesn't give a damn about you expect how to use your dopey ass for votes and money.

It's taken nearly 3 years for the President to come up with a jobs plan and yet it's the Republicans who could care less? I suppose they could care less. It's the President who couldn't care less.

And filibusters and stone walling GOP had nothing to do with it? Grow up, jackass.
