Punishment in one case, for adultery, and worthy of a fine in another. A fair reading of the Bible doesn't find a clear stance on abortion not because God approves, but because there is no Theocracy in the NT. What the state does is up to the state. Jesus said focus on God, or be lost...

If a Christian child sang "Jesus Loves Me" in a talent show, it would be viewed as a proselytism and you know it.
