Gerrymandering makes hypocrisy a political punch line

How do you know it's not unConstitutional? Voter ID doesn't tell a state how to draw it's districts. Moreover, Voter ID has been done on the State level, same with laws banning stuff in line is usually done on the state level, and again, has nothing to do with telling a state how to draw up it's district.

The big issue with the law that was merely introduced and nothing else done in 2021, is that it's vague. Who determines what gerrymandering is?
Seems like democrats do.

So when Texas Republicans are saying they are gerrymandering so Trump can have 5 more Republican seats in Congress thats...a provocation by Democrats?
You seriously think someone is going to buy that stupid rationalization?
Its the truth. Democrats gerryandered CA, NY, IL, NJ, MA, WA, OR, MN, and the NE states to the max.

My proof is that we'll see who gains seats from this last round of re-districting. I bet its Republicans.

That's funny coming from a democrat whose party just got smoked in 2024, and whose party is toxic and has a 19% approval.

whats funny about one or another party not winning an election? :cuckoo:

What the hell does that have to do with what you've quoted? You are incoherent.

The longer this thread goes the more and more I realize that these leftists aren't actually trying to convince us about gerrymanering, they are trying to convince their own side that they are right. If they have to put that much effort into trying to convince their own side that they're right then they are in big trouble. Any fool can see that democrats have been way ahead of republicans when it comes to gerrymandering.

It's not the truth it's your half baked wishful fantasies that you post because you have to maintain your stupid partisan house of cards.

Democrats are drawing up retaliatory redistricting maps RIGHT NOW.

chair of the California Democratic Congressional delegation, told local outlet KCRA 3 over the weekend that they’re expected to target five House Republicans.

That would be an exact counter to the five GOP seats that would be created by the Texas plan.

5 things to know as California moves forward with redistricting

In theory CA can get up to 9 seats flipped to Democrats with max gerymandering:

Okay, we'll see how maximum gerrymandering works out across the country.
If democrats think they can add seats, go for it, and Republicans will do the same.

This is a game democrats cannot win because they are 95% gerrymandered already while red states aren't anywhere close to that.

Is that your feelings or something you can factually support?
I'll tell you what, let's go for it. Have democrats return to Texas and we'll have all 50 states gerrymander and see who comes out the winner. I'm betting you don't want to do that. The reason the Texas dems don't want to return to Texas is because they know they will lose the gerrymandering war because democrats can't gerrymander much more than they already have. So, what do you say? Call the dems back to Texas and let's have at it.

Thats a very long way to admit that it's just your feeling, not something you know based on factual analisys.

You are being completely delusional, neither of us are in position to redistrict anything or have anyone do anything.

15th post
But would you take me up on it if we could?

I don't usually indulge in pointless fantasies.

But since you insist, the answer is NO. If it was in my power to get people to do things then it would be directed at passing a federal legislation to ensure sensible, uniform Congressional disctricting rules that would make gerrymandering illegal.

I called your bluff. You folded.

Catholic Mexican heritage voters are very unhappy with Trump not releasing the Epstein file.
