First SNAP Ban on Candy and Soda Set To Become Law

Voices in your head again?
You should stop accepting everything your rabid media tells you as fact and learn to think for yourself.

You… should stop spewing bullshit
Do you have a mirror?

Trump is putting tariffs against countries that have had high tariffs on our imported goods for some 50 years while we charged them much lower tariffs on theirs.

Trump is balancing the disparity by instituting US tariffs equal to what they've been doing to us.

Reciprocating.

Problem for all the countries wigging out is their entire economy is based on fucking the United States.

I love how liberals think that when people give someone a card to buy food and free money on that card, that those people can't then tell you what kind of food you can buy.

Like hell we can't. Benefits like SNAP have limitations, always have, always will. You can't buy a Big Mac with SNAP, but you can buy Oreos and Dr Pepper? Are you fucking serious?

I think food stamps should have strict time limits. Maybe no more than 3 months a year, and no more than like 48 months for a lifetime. You CANNOT have these lazy trashy people getting everything handed to them forever. They HAVE to get off their asses and get a job. Or they're gonna be fucking hungry. God knows most people I see on SNAP could afford to go hungry for a while.

. . . not sure what your point here is.
Turned Every Which Way But Loose

Temporary foster "parenthood" is a racket to pick up a little money on the side while casting the unwanted kid aside. Can you imagine a school subject being taught entirely by rotating substitute teachers? The lawmakers' substitute for orphanages has, as usual, been an ignorant and impractical massive failure.

Anything that has never been suggested by the hired Influencers is usually the way to go.

LOL! I'll bite:

Paternalistic actions implemented against a class of people solely because of their financial status.
It takes a little piece of the poor person's freedom away..and creates a subtle social difference.

I remember never taking free lunches as a kid..because of the stigma of handing in a specially colored ticket that designated me as being one of the poor kids...so perhaps I take it personally.

Choice is freedom...and it is not up to the Govt. to police people's food purchases.
And all of a sudden the hall monitors don't want to be hall monitors
And if people want candy and soda they can buy it themselves
You got fat n****** driving around in Mercedes with EBT cards in their wallets

More often than you can imagine.

I'll never forget back in 2014 after losing my job in 2013, but having made too much money to qualify for SNAP the previous year, but having just dropped 20% downpayment on a house and thus I was living paycheck to paycheck, I went to Wal Mart to buy a few food items to get me through the week. One layer of stuff on the bottom of the basket. The people in front of me had a HEAPING basket. Crap was falling out the entire time they checked out. Way back then, total? OVER 450 DOLLARS!! Whips out a SNAP card and gone. Meanwhile, I check out my groceries, total 35 dollars and I'm wondering how in the hell I was going to pay for it.

You watch too much TEE VEE. Nothing was a bigger failure than state run or privatized orphanages.

Is there grift in the current system? Sure.

But go look at the amount of money California puts into its homeless problem that keeps getting bigger.

Bureaucracies are far more susceptible to corruption than individuals, because there is no accountability in a bureaucracy.

. . . individuals OTH? Are monitored and held to account if there is fraud, abuse, or waste. Bureaucracies are not.

Throughout my life, in my area, I have met many many folks that grew up in the foster system. For the most part, they were just like every other kid in the school systems. This is not the case when kids grow up in either group homes, (which still exist,) and orphanages.

Only in big metro areas is the grift you are talking about going on.

It is a welfare type program. Only it’s designed to be temporary.
True. But it is NOT what has been traditionally known as. . . "welfare," which is the claim that was made.

So are we going to dictate that fast food can’t be paid for with SNAP ?

Pizza?

Do we demand that only fresh vegetables are eligible ?
They can’t get fast food now dumbass
