I think there is more to this than meets the eye. This latest tantrum demonstrates more than anything that he knows full well he has lost the mid-term elections and both houses of Congress. And, it seems that he wants that more than anything else. Trump loves chaos and fighting more than he does legislating. So, for him, what better scenario exists than he as president, alone and fighting his hated Democrat enemies on a daily basis. He knows that they will oppose anything he does legislatively and that he will be impeached for the third time. But, he is confident that he will not be convicted and can again brag about defeating his enemies.

Trump wants nothing more than fighting and beating the Democrats. He will issue every whack brained executive order he can think of, knowing that judges will probably oppose him, but that his ally, the SCOTUS, will back him up. He will be tweeting nightly bragging about the day's constant victories over his enemies. It will be Trump as his finest, leaving a legacy no one can ever equal!
