No matter, thousands of other Israelites knew who he was.Questionable, but whatever. The fact is that only a sliver of the world’s Jews during the time of Jesus even heard of the guy.

At the time? Seriously doubtful. He had a relatively small band of followers. No matter, thousands of other Israelites knew who he was.
And yet you know of Him two thousand years later. The prophecies were fulfilled. Will anyone remember your name in 2125?At the time? Seriously doubtful. He had a relatively small band of followers.
The prophecies were not fulfilled. Where’s the Temple? Where’s the peace on earth? And yet you know of Him two thousand years later. The prophecies were fulfilled. Will anyone remember your name in 2125?
Thousands came to hear him speak, the remnant of the northern kingdom mainly. Many believed he was the messiah. At the time? Seriously doubtful. He had a relatively small band of followers.
The prophesies of his first appearance have been fulfilled. The prophecies were not fulfilled. Where’s the Temple? Where’s the peace on earth?
We are still waiting.
Your Temple doesn't exist because you lack the faith to throw the Arabs off and rebuild. That is coming. The prophecies were not fulfilled. Where’s the Temple? Where’s the peace on earth?

Yeah, that’s when they saw because he didn’t fulfill the prophecies. “He’ll come back a second time, and THEN he will.”Peace on earth comes when He returns with the Resurrected Church.
Christ filled every prophecy that was necessary at His first coming. Fulfilled prophecy doesn't require your acceptance
It seems to me that the end time messiah of the Jews has a strong resemblance to the end time Christian messiah. One difference is that Christ will save all Israel not just the Jews. Thoughts?Carl in Michigan
No, Carl…..my post is not fake news.
YOUR opinion, having abandoned Judaism, is that Jesus was the Messiah.
MY opinion, maintaining Jewish beliefs, is that he was not.
Just a matter of different opinion, and different religions.
I didn't abandon Judaism. I've never accepted it any more than I accept Islam.Carl in Michigan

Jesus accepted worship from some but didn't demand it.Yeah, that’s when they saw because he didn’t fulfill the prophecies. “He’ll come back a second time, and THEN he will.”
Jews do not believe in worshipping mortal men.
That’s not what Christians are saying.Jesus accepted worship from some but didn't demand it.
It’s just a matter of opinion. There is no “evidence” that Jesus was Gd, who met Moses on Mt. Sinai, and the very thought of it is antithetical to Judaism.I didn't abandon Judaism. I've never accepted it any more than I accept Islam.
I follow the OVERWHELMING evidence that Jesus is the God who spoke to Moses and Abraham
Most Christians aren't Christians. That’s not what Christians are saying.
The true believers have always been a pretty small group. It’s just a matter of opinion. There is no “evidence” that Jesus was Gd, who met Moses on Mt. Sinai, and the very thought of it is antithetical to Judaism.
So, can’t we just agree that you will believe this Jesus stuff, and I and the majority of people in the world (not just Jews) do not?
