Zone1 Pope Leo Explains God Does Not Listen To People Who Wage War So Long As You Don’t Count Moses, David, Joshua, Elijah, Saul, Gideon, Samson, Or Anyone

“The CIA leaned on a young, insecure Shah to issue a decree dismissing Mossadegh as prime minister ….” Your own link.

In other words, the Shah ultimately had to (and did) make the call.

If he was persuaded by the CIA, I’m ok with that.

The people of Iran weren't.

The one tossed was elected by the people.
And the Shah had every right to bounce him out of office.

If we had any elected officials who were working to change us into a Marxist governed nation, they too could get bounced out of office.

The people elected him. It's not up to us how other countries want to run their countries.

No. The Iranian parliament “elected” him as PM.

And, the Shah had the legal authority to remove him.

Did we (ie, our CIA) make efforts to urge the shah to remove the PM. Sure. But so what? We were allowed to make such suggestions to any foreign leader just as they are free to try to persuade our Congress and President.

The Iranian Constitution put the Shah in charge, and the prime minister served at his pleasure.

The Shah fired the communist for good cause, as outlined above.

The prime minister was put in place by the people.

You say that because some Islamofascists overthrew his reign. That doesn’t meet any rational meaning of the “people of Iran.”

Nice try.

They hated the loss of power after the Shah instituted the White Revolution, which modernized Iran and gave rights to women.

The prime minister was elected by the people.

And per the Constitution, served at the pleasure of the Shah.

It should come as no surprise that a false narrative surrounding Mosaddeq’s removal developed almost immediately. Reality, however, is far different. Mohammad Mosaddeq was legitimately removed from power for attempting to topple the constitutional monarchy on behalf of the Soviet-supported Tudeh party. American and British support was exactly what the Shah required to restore the constitution. The ultimate collapse of the Shah’s government and its replacement with an Islamic fundamentalist theocracy is a tragedy the United States regrets even to this day.

Imagine the nerve of a Shah to see to it that women get rights of any kind.

I guess that does explain why shitlibs dislike him.

The prime minister was put in place by the people.
Wrong again.

Mohammad Mosaddegh became prime minister in 1951 through a combination of parliamentary selection and royal appointment—both were required under Iran’s constitutional system

per AI. HOWEVER, it is supported by verifiable citations.
