Zone1 Explain This

Here is one : Jesus is the son of the devil (post #10)

And we’ve had Christians on this forum tell us that Jews are the children of Satan. In fact, isn’t that in your Gospels?

I can't challenge Jews who tell me Jesus is the son of the devil?

This isn't a discussion you're not capable of participating in. This is for Jews to explain the meaning of Isiah 9:5-6

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
And I can’t challenge Christians who tell me - over and over and over - that Jesus is the son of Gd?

Also, I don’t recall any Jew saying Jesus is the son of the Devil. There is no Devil.

Never heard a Jew say that, have you? I mean have you really?

double negative, but I assume you are telling me I can't participate in the thread?

It's a public forum Boy-o, I can post wherever I want.

You mean Jews who dare express the beliefs on their religion? How DARE they share their views instead of just shutting up while Christians mock them.

Maybe you should direct your hostility toward Christians who enjoy repeatedly telling Jews they are wrong or, as you like to say, “incomplete.” You think THAT is an acceptable thing to tell Jews?

I say YOU are misguided.
Do you have an explanation for Isaiah 9:5-6? Or do you just want to be mock offended here. If you express an opinion you should be able to back it up without being offended.

Isaiah prophesied that someone in HIS FUTURE would be BORN on this earth who is "the Mighty God"

And frankly, I'm pretty damn tired of walking on eggshells because I shatter people's idea babies.

I see it in almost everyone. This life is MUCH TOO SHORT to put our false beliefs ahead of seeking the truth.

If you're offended every time someone challenges your comfortable beliefs, then that's a you problem

I'm gonna keep offending the comfortable.

I just quoted someone. If you can't follow the conversation, I'm not going to respond to you.

My question was directed to Jews who deny Christ anyway, not liberal atheists. You're irrelevant in this thread but you see an opportunity to turn it into an opportunity to bash conservatives

Here's what I'm seeing.

No Jewish poster wants to deal with the Isaiah "problem"

Gutless wonders who hate the truth

No, same Gd. Jesus is not a god
Lisa post #329

So explain Isaiah 9:5-6
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

This is a simple question for JEWS in the RELIGION FORUM

No, it's not. But that's not the topic of THIS thread. Derailing my thread won't keep me from asking the question in the OP
1) Ah….I see. The topic of this thread is how “bold” Jews are to dare discuss their religious beliefs, yet you are free to say how they are “incomplete.”

2) So you are free to criticize Jews, and Jews need to STFU about any beliefs that differ from yours.

3) Are you the poster who said he was raised Jewish (meaning, you are Jewish) but converted to Christianity?

4) If you knew Hebrew, you would realize the child referred to in that verse is King Hezekiah.

Google translate quotes it exactly the same. Everybody does. You're not being honest here (I know a LITTLE Hebrew)
מה שלום המשפחה 😂

From your link:

The curious fact is that two of the names for the child seems to imply divinity.

Of course this is not the only time Tanakh have references to "Bene Elohim" or son of god and it could mean many things. In this passage, what does it mean? Why would a born child be called mighty God, everlasting father?

You don't know because you reject the possibility that you've missed something.

Before I go further, answer: why you the one who was born and raised Jewish?

Hezekiah goes by the titles, "The Mighty God"? Everlasting Father? 😂
You’re not answering my question: were you the poster who said he was raised Jewish and rejected Judaism to become Christian? IME, the Messiqnic Jews are the most arrogant, disrepectful, and insulting to Jews who remain loyal to their faith.

who cares how google translates it?
Everybody does.
no, not everyone does.

Here:
For a child has been born to us,
A son has been given us.
And authority has settled on his shoulders.
He has been named
“The Mighty God is planning grace;
The Eternal Father, a peaceable ruler”
