It's well understood that while America can cut Russian oil cold turkey, EU weaning off Russian energy is a more long term effort. But EU is strongly commited to doing just that.

NATO is not fractured as you laughably claim, Russian bloody invasion has made NATO more united than it has been in decades. The sanctions NATO imposed, and long term policies it has commited to were UNTHINKABLE just 2 months ago.

Putin set out to disarm Ukraine and topple their government. They are more armed than ever and Zelensky is a national hero.

Putin set out to weaken NATO and limit it's reach. Exactly opposite has happened. Germany is commiting 200 billion in additional millitary spending and Sweeden and Finland are on the verge of joining the alliance.
