I'm torn here. I think crash data where the vehicle malfunction is the problem should be reported. However, if someone puts the car in auto pilot mode and then decides to take a nap or play another round of call of duty mobile...using the feature in a way not intended, I'm not sure if those should be reported.Donald Trump's transition team will make a recommendation that would sabotage the government's ability to investigate and regulate the safety of self-driving vehicles like those Elon Musk's company is developing, according to a new report.
The first of many handouts to the wealthy at the expense of the public.
The world's smallest violin playing "my Heart Bleeds For You"
Of course they should be reported. That is a danger presented specifically by that kind of car and should be tracked. I don't have a problem identifying why it happened, but you can't ignore that it happened. It's not like that kind of wreck is prevalent in non-auto-pilot cars.I'm torn here. Should a company be dinged because of someone's misuse of their product?Of course they should be reported. That is a danger presented specifically by that kind of car and should be tracked. If misuse is a common problem, yes. As a kid, my dad sent me to the store for cigarettes. I got them and took them to him, no problem. Sometimes I told the guy at the store that they were for my dad but smoked them myself. Now they check ID to see if you are old enough to purchase. That's a perfect example of a product being limited because of misuse.Should a company be dinged because of someone's misuse of their product?
Yeah because Musk wasnt well on his way to becoming a trillionaire already......As I stated in another thread earlier this week, we're going to experience the world's first trillionaire thanks to the government corruption of the incoming administration.
It will be Elon.
Watch...

Ok, so report those to the retard police.I'm torn here. I think crash data where the vehicle malfunction is the problem should be reported. Corrupt electoral college, traitor.
Thanks to Musk' satellites changing votes.
OK, you're acting out. Time to give you your happy pills and put you to bed.Even with Musk' corrupted satellites, Trump could only manage 2.5 million more votes than Harris.
Lying isn't a quality normal people are interested in.
Trump cult was on board with that.
If there seems to be a rash of people being beaten with a mag light, sure. It should be noted. There are intended and unintended consequences with anything. Perhaps some change in design could reduce those unintended consequences. You never know unless you keep track of them. But we're talking misuse. What you're talking about is selling a product to a minor.
Im talking about customers using products in a way not intended. Like, if I get an 18" mag lite and beat someone over the head with it, do you blame mag lite? Of course you wouldn't.
Same with a self driving car. If you put it in self driving mode and then go to sleep, even though the instructions say you should be fully alert still behind the wheel, if someone uses it improperly, should tesla be dinged for that?

There is definitely a danger that Trump could become as corrupt as the Establishment, thus, himself becoming a part of the problem rather than the solution. This isn't directed at any specific policy or person, but a general danger as I hear of many different people meeting with him who once worked against him.
By the grace of G-d he was protected from an assassins bullet. This was for a purpose. Let's hope he succeeds in this purpose and doesn't become intoxicated by the powerful and wealthy who may wish to charm him.
WOW ... INCREDIBLE ... a President who will actually fulfill a campaign promise ...
<sarcasm> We the People want regulations, folks voted for him figuring he was lying about cutting red tape ... </sarcasm>
