Enough with the Trump tariffs are destroying the economy threads

It’s actually showing that no one has any idea what the hell is going on.

DOGE has shown we already know that with the bloat of federal government outlays.

Now we get to see what's what with out trade imbalances.

Its not before. We are now in a trade war with them.

Yet he doesn't appear to be acting this way with China. Interesting that.

We are, but the left is more butt hurt over the Canada thing because they get better snippets of dog and pony crap like Canadien liquor stores removing American booze from the shelves.

when the demofk has nothing to say and posts a bullying insult as some tough guy. Hilarious infant you are. My insult back.
Again, didn't tariffs lead us out of the Great Depression.

doge has shown us that we need government workers to make government run efficiently.

Look at what leon shitlers! companies have done lastly, rockets crashing, poorly built swastitrucks and no redesign on cars for years. Duden has killed his brand and is now looked at as a NAZI nerd and a failure.

DOGE has shown us no one was actually tracking anything, the money was just spent.

Falcon 9 is the most reliable rocket in history, and is mostly re-usable. Starship is using the launch to fail method of development, and the booster stage has now had 2 or 3 successful launches and captures.

The only thing hurting Tesla is leftist butthurt, arson, and vandalism.

You know what a trade imbalance translates to

You don't make the shit other countries want.

Or the other country throws up so much protectionist bullshit your products can't compete on cost regardless of quality or demand.

There is no trade war yet, just a lot of posturing and back and forth.

So far the only weakness has been shown by Canada, with those stupid "Remove the American booze from out shelves" stunt.

You don't do things like that from a position of strength.
There wasn't a trade war, Trump decided to escalate a trade war though. If he felt trade was getting unbalanced between the USA and Canada, going all in guns blazing is not really the way forward. If Trump thinks Canada will lie on it's back and take it, he's very much mistaken.

What Trump says and does is usually right, but he's too abrasive and the closet thing to a bull in a China shop. That's Trump's weakness.

Canada doesn't have the weight to fight in our class if we choose to fight.

There was Trade surrender on the part of the US for decades.

Wrong. We have federal excise taxes, luxury taxes etc on all kinds of imports

This tax was levied on material goods such as watches, expensive furs, boats, yachts, private jet planes, jewelry and expensive cars. Congress enacted a 10 percent luxury surcharge tax on boats over $100,000, cars over $30,000, aircraft over $250,000, and furs and jewelry over $10,000.

Because people prefer French wine/champagne, Italian sports cars, and Swiss watches.

And so do the other countries, and Europe is renowned for not caring what its peoples prefer, but for just throwing tariffs on things they want to protect.

And of subsidizing their industries, or you think Airbus doesn't get subsidies from multiple governments ?

that isn't a differentiator to the products coming in, fail!

well, as I just posted, there is no differentiator between imports and home made. That's the purpose of the tariff.

Airbus is multiple governments.

Airbus is owned by a number of countries and shareholders, including France, Germany, Spain, the United Kingdom, and others.

And they all kick into the kitty to help it compete against Boeing, and more recently Embraer.

You have to go back to the 19th Century?
Is that not the same president that shitler! idolizes and wants to return our country to economically.

It's not a coincidence marty. Those tariffs cratered the labor market and sent our country into an economic depression not prosperity.
