c) Raise your prices and lose business? (The auto makers have already figured that out.)Let's pretend that you are a manufacture or a seller and you are required to pay tariffs.
Do you:
a) Continue your business and take the hit like nothing happened?
b) Raise your prices so you can continue to live the lifestyle you're used to and continue paying your Mercedes payment?
No loss, to be fair. Keep them busy in their own third world rather than everybody else's.Or, in your case the chicoms need to sell more stuff in America so that they can build a bigger army to kill Americans with

Nike makes sneakers in China for 17 and they sell for over 100.00.We refuse to buy demand drops and the price drops. You dont have to buy but the sellers must sell of go brokeHafar.....please just stop!
How do you get a lower price with the American Importer having to pay 15% or 25% or 10% in tariffs (or whatever Trump chooses) MORE for the product, to land it here in the USA.....The importer then sells it to a Retailer at a HIGHER PRICE to cover the cost of the tariff that he had to pay when it unloaded in to the USA at our port.
And then the Retailer marks their product HIGHER on the tariffed goods, and sold to the consumer!
How do tariffs bring lower prices?
