Electric sub-stations were attacked In North Carolina.

If people are going to go out and do Gods work, I hope they are smart enough to plan exquisitely and consider every possible avenue.

Of course, I'm talking about church picnics.

If this is what it takes...we need to see a LOT more of it.

CHURCH PICNICS ya fool !!!!! God you're paranoid!

who knows right?

could be anybody...even the Amish right?
No.

The damage had to take out large pieces of transformers. This is not something that can be done with in AR-15. More like a small-caliber canon.

This is very strange. 90 miles outside of Charlotte? "Very rural"? If you were going for an attack, wouldn't you go for something more populated? Or are these folks just warming up?
They are demonstrating how it is done.

Why did they attack federal buildings, Walmarts and police stations?

Because of their perceived racial injustices by the government. When have they ever attacked a power station and have done anything anonymously, nonetheless?

You people are a bunch of paranoid loons

A couple of years ago this same thing happened in San Jose, and it pretty much faded away from view. If I remember correctly someone set up near a substation and shot holes in the distribution transformers with a small caliber gun from a distance. Not much skill or special equipment required. The holes let the coolant drain from the core and either the hi temp device shuts it down or the windings meltdown. Either way the unit is out of service. I was thinking at the time it looked like someone was gauging response to the event, and was maybe a trial run for something else. The fby looked at it and decided it wasn't terrorism only because no one bragged about it. It seemed pretty fishy to me at the time and I forgot about it. As to who might do such a thing, we may never be told what is known. 'Military-Style' Raid on California Power Station Spooks U.S.
ETA distribution transformers and switching equipment (big stuff) weren't even made in the US at that time, they were made in Germany, with an 18 month turn around time. I can't imagine anything was done about it then.
