The medical team quickly put a breathing tube down his throat and moved him to intensive care. For two days, machines helped him breathe while doctors monitored his condition.

For two days, everything seemed to be improving.

But on 19th May, hope turned to horror in just 35 minutes.

After the doctors and Robert’s wife left his room, the mass on his neck shifted. It rolled over his airways and cut off all oxygen. Robert suffocated to death in that hospital bed.

When his wife walked back into the room, she found Robert blue and lifeless. She screamed for help. Doctors rushed in to find Robert with no heartbeat and no breath.

They took scans from top to bottom with an MRI. There was barely any brain matter left. It had eaten itself up because of a lack of oxygen.

His heart, liver, and kidneys were also failing. His body was swelling as death took hold. The machines kept his heart pumping, but Robert was clinically dead with no brain function.

Doctors told his wife there was no hope.

They wanted to remove life support, but she refused. Day after day, they tried to convince her to pull the plug. Robert lay dead for three full days.

“My heart was being eaten away, my liver, my kidneys.

They had me on machines to pump my heart, but I was still dead because I had no brain.

And they wanted to take me off, but they could not because we have what’s called a living will. And that means that if they put me on any life support machine, even though I may be dead, they cannot take me off for 14 days unless my wife agrees and says yes.

I believe in the afterlife few times. Not in death I have experienced it. I have my doubts about this man. Ill assume he dis have an NDE. We each process that differently. Theologically, I believe that we "English" need to ask ourselves IF even Messiah Yeshua - Jesus can meet and face The Tempter - Satah, [perhaps in a near death experience type of atmosphere because forty days of fasting can kill us], then can we English be tempted by Satan - the Tempter, as well?
