Do you see people blowing off social distancing.

I generally keep a good distance from people anyway. I've always been a germophobe.

I've never needed the government to tell me what to do, though.

So far as the question goes, people are still out doing their thing. Just not so many as usual.

I refuse take part in communism of any sort, and that include social distancing. I value my liberty and freedom. I understand that I may get sick and will likely spread the virus to some people who may die from it, but I feel like it's the patriotic duty of every American to stand up for what is right. I am not going to turn tail like a coward.
You are not only an idiot, you are a criminal. You do not have the right to make someone else sick, and possibly die. If there was a way that I could have you arrested, I would. Fuck you.

Let people choose if they want to quarantine. If you want to stay locked up in your house that is your choice. If others want to get back to normal they should have that choice. If your in quarantine lock down in your house no one is going to get you sick...

A friend from NM has indicated that they are in full lockdown.

But many are blowing it off.

Do you see that ?
I had a humorous experience last night at my local Walgreen's. They've actually marked off with tape each six feet of space you're supposed to distance yourself from others who are in line. I went a BIT over a line, and remarked, "Oops, I was only five and a half feet away from you, am I going to be arrested?" The woman I said this to failed to see the humor in my comment. Which was humorous in itself.
You just can't expect some people to understand the humor in somethings.
I see a lot of people in our little community that get together every night for happy hour. They don't even think about two feet little own six.
I don't see the need to run over and police them. The people at all the stores we go in are the usual distance away. They are cheerful and happy don't mind handling money.

I suppose we could all cower under the bed for six eight years in the hopes it will all be safe by then or we can accept the same amount of risk we do every time we get in a car, step into a street, or fly in a plane. It all depends on how you want to live what you call life.

Yes! Been to a lot of small towns in Colorado, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Arkansas...they think they are isolated and safe.

I put my hand up and say "I just came from New York." That puts them right into revese. Truth is I haven't been to the northeast in a decade and if you're waiting on me to bring you something, you best reckon on plan B...evolve another stomach and start eating grass.

But it has come in handy to keep people away from me.

A couple of small coughs also gets their attention.

Well, I hope that all of you silly, obtuse morons are as invulnerable to the coronavirus as you think. Because you're probably going to get it anyway. It won't kill you, but it might kill your grandma.
To Trumpist morons Grandma is expendable.

I went to meet a friend yesterday at a Sonic Drive In- we went through the drive thru which was brought to my truck- their marquee sign said; You may take our patio but you'll never get our Stalls:funnyface:

Who said that in this thread.

Please go find some other place to spread your bullshit.

This was asking a question.

Do you get that ?

Simple question. Yes or no Do you get it.

A question.

Looking for people's observation.

Not your stupid commentary.

Most people are.

Equality is harmful. Rural and sparsely populated areas are seeing little if any infections. They should not have the same rules as cities with enormous populations living close together. It is completely idiotic to think that people who live so far apart from one another that they literally depend on neighbors, friends and family for their lives will abide by ridiculous social distancing rules more appropriate to a teeming city.

:imsorry3: I didn't respond to the question you asked in OP.

For the most part I see people practicing social distancing. I'm actually good with not having people stand on top of me in lines at the grocery, post office or wherever. With that said I do think people are growing tired of having restaurants and other relators closed, along with all the other new policies being put in place by essential businesses and medical providers.

There's a lot of Corvettes out today with their tops off or down. I just took mine out for a spin and passed 4 others. Then there were two more at the fueling station.

Apparently we all had the same idea. It's a beautiful spring day out there. God bless America, I say.

The trees are blossoming, the sky is blue, the sun is shining, the air is crisp and clean and the birds are singing and chirping.

I see more people fishing on the banks of the river. I live next to the river in a country-urban setting. The reason I know they are there several cars parked next to the levee parked in the morning and evening. Normally, cars aren't parked there. I see more and more fishermen on the banks. Second, I would think it's the boaters. They're not water skiing (which would be too obvious and would get them arrested), but would think they're fishing. The came back later at night in the dark. The LEOs could stop this by closing the boat launches nearby. Aside from that, I think we're okay but the city's deaths have gone up to 5. I haven't seen anyone picnicking but wasn't out looking for such things. In the SF - Bay Area, the parks and beaches were crowded, as well as the rural areas over the weekend according to the news. Will California become another Italy or Spain? I think so, but I'm not a medical specialist. I do know about statistics.

I have not left my house since last Friday so I couldn't tell you.
It's a wonderful world out there. Too bad you're missing out.
Not missing anything. I've been dealing with a stomach virus. It'll be the same outdoors next week that it is now. Sitting on my deck in the spring is perfectly satisfying
