Can you cite your reasoning by existing laws as to why these national criminal offenses by these appointed officers in a failed coup d' etat etc. are now considered civil offenses? It appears that Federal de minimus laws created by our Constitution and Congress say otherwise.

That was a Civil Offense, the penalty for him, was being 'let go'... fired... most gvt employees would not get this maximum penalty for 'lack of candor', but since MCCabe was in the FBI, a position where 'trust' is needed, and used in court, he got the maximum penalty...

though he is fighting this ruling I believe, because he was not given his due process that the gvt allots to employees accused, it was rushed, so that the president could get his own personal vengeance on him by getting his 20 year of service retirement, cut in half... by rushing his firing to 2 days... before he would qualify for the full amount.

Andrew McCabe leaked classified materials that made him look good...blamed the leak on the FBI's New York office and ordered them to find who it was that leaked the information there and then lied when questioned about that under oath.
