This group of primaries is an unusual process. The Justice Department and the White House have conspired to mobilize support for Donald Trump with a flurry of bullshit legal actions, so there is no question that the vast majority of Republicans want Donald Trump as their candidate.

The primaries are making our choice for Plan B. If Trump is taken out by legal or other factors, "we" need to decide whom we want to replace him on the ticket. One would only hope that DeSantis is the guy.
