Nonsense. Catholics believe in Christ. You have a different understanding of the scriptures and different interpretations of the Bible than they do. With the evil direction society has taken, those who believe in Christ as the Savior of the World need to stick together. Because more and more young people have been brainwashed to believe good is evil and evil is good. We can’t change anything if we bicker with each other.
Joseph Smith was called by the Godhead to be the Prophet to open up this last dispensation of the fullness of times. Schofield may or may not have been influenced by the Holy Ghost. But not called to be a prophet of God.

There is nothing false about his "Prophecies" when he spoke with "Thus saith the Lord." People often mix up prophets of old and today their "thus saith the Lord" comments and their own personal comments. Only that which is in the scriptures, Bible, Book of Mormon, D & C and Pearl of Great Price is actual doctrine and prophecy. Are the words of our prophets to be followed when it comes to the direction of the Church and the people of the world? Sure! The prophets will never today be allowed to lead anyone astray. So, you are in error. Also, you should not throw stones when your own prophets tried to state exact dates and times 5 times when the world would end.

We all know Jesus and his apostles prophesied, Revelation was the last prophecy given by God. Mr Smith prophecy's were false truth. He said Jesus was coming in 1835= false. But the fact remains it wasn't a false prophecy it was an error because he isn't a prophet.
He told them Jesus would return in 1835. In 1832 he told them a temple would be built in Independence Missouri in his generation. 200 years later still no temple had been built. He told them in 1837- The moon was inhabited by men and women who lived to be 1000 years old. He claimed to have seen God( Father) and Jesus. None are truths he told.
That is not all there was for 1500 years.
