Democrats make counterproposal to end the shutdown. Will republican vote to continue to shutdown.?

All income tax cuts will always predominantly benefit the wealthy because the wealthy pay most of the taxes. Over 50% of US citizens pay zero income tax. The top 10% pay the vast majority of the income tax 72% to be exact. What tax cut could you pass that wouldn’t predominantly benefit the wealthy?

Now take a look at total tax burden as percentage by income levels when all taxes are included. These include:
  • Federal Income Taxes
  • State Income Taxes
  • Local Income Taxes
  • State Sales Tax
  • Local Sales Tax
  • Targeted Sales Tax (for example special taxes on hotels, restruants, etc.)
  • Real Estate Taxes (and yes renters pay real estate taxes, bascially through their rent for the landlord)
  • Property Taxes (addition taxes on owning high value items, such as vehicles)
  • Various Directly Embedded Taxes (for example Federal and State taxes embedded in the purchase of fuel)
  • Various Indict Embedded Taxes (those taxes that are paid by manufacturers and importers on goods and services that are then passed on to the consumer)

people from all ideologies agree in this board, that not accepting a proposal by the opposing party means you love the shutdown and you don’t care about poor people.

We are about to find out if Republicans really want the shutdown to end, because if they do not agree with Democrats counter proposal, it follows that GOP does not care about the people who are suffering from this shutdown.

This will take time so I will notify you as soon as Republican make a decision on whether they dislike or like to shut down.

So Schumer offered the same stinking pile of shit and claims it's some kind of new offering? :D

Remind me how much affect the President has on any of the taxes below Federal Income tax.

And no renters don’t pay property taxes.

You asked me about a system, tax burden isn't one thing, it's a total system.

And yes. What I said is true: "Real Estate Taxes (and yes renters pay real estate taxes, bascially through their rent for the landlord)". The landlord is going to include property taxes as part of their overall equation in determing the rent to charge a renter. It's a cost of doing business and therefore is included in the price.

I didn’t ask you about anything.

By this logic you pay no taxes your employer pays all the taxes though your wages. But someone is paying him for something so the those people are paying the taxes. But someone is paying them so they are paying the taxes….

Your point being?

LOL

1. Trump never won NY, NJ, or VA in three elections, going 0-9.

2. All six Senators are Democrats. No Republican has been elected Senator from NJ since 1972, none in NY since 1992, none in VA since 2002.

3. They are Blue States.

Sure, it may not be 'good', but all three went as expected because of the above three reasons.
Excuses abound, although a number of prominent Republicans admit they did horribly.

Ted Cruz calls election results a 'disaster' for Republicans

As usual, the economy is the major determinant, and Republicans control the Executive, the Senate, and the House.

Trump vowed to make the economy better on Day One

Most Americans rate US economy negatively

Watch for Trump and the GOP to start hyping the economy.

Do tell .. how much less spending will there be in 2025 because of "huge" Obamacare and Medicaid subsidy cuts?
The ‘clean’ GOP CR locks in $1.1T in health-care cuts from the Big Beautiful Bill.
Democrats want the CR to fix that.

Cutting 1 trillion in healthcare pending is not clean.
Nothing has been cut in the CR, moron. Educate yourself. Had you democrats passed the CLEAN CR, negotiations could have been made over the past 38 days to continue the democrat sunset clause that takes effect on Nov. 21. Now STFU, you're ignorant----or just a bald faced liar.

Exactly, by not fixing the huge healthcare subsidy cut by the big beautiful Bill, the Republican CR guarantees the huge cut.
Fix your fuckup and stop calling it “clean” if it doesn’t restore the subsidies that were there in last fiscal year.

And by the way, typing, clean in uppercase letters doesn’t make it clean.

perfect. Since Republican voted to end the shutdown, there’s nothing to worry about as they will do it again. Unless they only want the other party to be the one to accept what the opponent wants.

But is there a limit? Why can’t they vote to end the shut down again? Is it because they were not really trying to end the shutdown but just trying to make Democrats accept everything Republicans want?
The senate can vote on the CR again

A CR that has already been approved in the House

Say it with me, moron. Between Oct.1 and Nov 21 there are 52 negotiating days until another shut down could be considered IF the democrats didn't get their way. The opportunity was there. LOL, now, instead, the democrats have ensured that the sunset clause WILL take effect on Nov. 21 with NO CHANCE OF SAVING IT. SMFH, you really are stupid. In addition, the democrats have thrown all of the SNAP/WIC/EBT recipients under the bus in their effort to save ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT benefits. Again, educate yourself---the public education system failed you.
Fix your fuckup and stop calling it “clean” if it doesn’t restore the subsidies that were there in last fiscal year.
The sunset clause that you are so concerned about was put in place by------DEMOCRATS. The same people who have guaranteed that it WILL happen with this shut down and all because your petulant leadership threw a temper tantrum.

Senate republicans have voted 15 times to accept the house's clean CR---it has been rejected 15 times by senate democrats. NO FUNDING HAS BEEN CUT IN THE CR until it expires on Nov. 21. SHUMER SHUTDOWN.

CR keeps the lights on.....the rest is up for negotiation after the CR is passed.

From your link:

Schumer proposed a “clean” one-year extension to the tax credits that expire on Dec. 31 — meaning they would not include new restrictions on eligibility that many Republicans have sought. He also proposed creating a bipartisan committee to negotiate a longer-term solution for the subsidies and other health care reforms, to begin its work after the government reopens.

Interesting. Which of these new restrictions is Chucky most concerned about, I wonder:

What happened to that inviolable federal law against illegal aliens getting ACA subsidies?

Question:

I'm not a federal employee, and I'm not on any kind of welfare, including food benefits like SNAP and WIC. Flying sucked so bad even before the shutdown that I haven't done it in more than a decade and don't plan to. So, when and how will the shutdown affect me?

BTW: I have an extremely acurate digital meter stick in my garage. All other metric measurements are derived from the meter, except for temperature, which is derived from nature so I never have to ask the Bureau of Weights and Measures anything.

I can't think of anything else . . .

The Trump 2017-2018 gutted major parts of Obamacare which Biden restored-ish with the subsidies. Democrats would be glad to go back to the original Obamacare. Can you get the GOP to agree to it genius plan maker?
The original Obozocare was a massive failure.
