This "Maryland Dad" was a former gang member that came to the united states as a teenager and continued his life of crime.
The US sent him back to his home country to face any charges that were still over his head.
Abrego Garcia was a known wife-beater who was suspected of drug trafficking and entering the US illegally.

The only issue was that sending him back to his home country would endanger him because of his beef with his former gang, MS-13.

He's not a real poster-child against ICE. He's the very reason ICE exists.
