Well sure, BA--- I mean, the GOP forever stupidly always spells out all of their plans, intentions and timelines on TV well in advance like they think it is winning them over anyone from the Left; instead, all the GOP does is arm the Left and allow them to plan a more effective rebuttal to the GOP's wishes then and farther ahead in advance.
The GOP is a lot like the British Redcoats all lining up on the battlefield in 1775 prepared to play 100% by the rules, whereas the Left's approach to politics is more like how the chinese approach war, with the tactics of Sun Tzu: all of democrat's plans are all held behind closed doors and nothing they ever tell you before the camera is their real plans, intentions or goals.
If I ran the GOP, I would have the Left running in 15 directions at once in a panic trying to figure out and deal with the GOP's real intentions, then at the last second, pull the rug out and switch off on a tangent they never saw coming. I would be beating them over the head with their very methods and ploys, all the while making it so if the Dems complain or say it is wrong, unfair or illegal, they would be in effect denouncing their own plans and intentions!
In a way, democrats are so lucky to have republicans because going into every battle right out, the GOP sets rules and guidelines--- they announce how far they will go and what they will not do, and immediately, democrats know exactly what to do and how far to go to win. Kinda like what Iran is trying to do with Trump now.
How many times have you heard republicans BRAG how they may have lost but at least they remained true to their conservative principles? Remember how Billy Kristol railed in 2015 about how Trump was not a "true" conservative? Therefore, the biggest thing to hit the GOP in 50 years or 150 years should have been rejected and passed over. A real republican would rather lose if it means adhering to his principles, whereas a democrat only cares about the shortest path to victory.
While the Dems want a bandit who runs through the streets cutting your throat and robbing you blind, The GOP wants nothing but Bob Doles, Mitt Romneys, and John McCains--- good, nice guys who are easy pickings every time. And so, many republicans hold their nose at Trump no matter how much good he does for both the party, country and planet, because he just doesn't fit the mold.
About the only reason the GOP ever wins anything (especially with a third of the party being RINOS) is because the Left are both so evil and corrupt, and so, the lowest sector of society are the ones most attracted to their cause--- mainly because they realize that evil and cheating are about the only way any of them will ever see any success in life.
Just as NYC now realizes that about the only way to ever meet their campaign goals is to rob the successful blind and punish them for actually succeeding--- once all the rich are dead, poor or left the state, they will switch to feeding off lower and lower strata of society.
