But isn't an indictment like an accusation? As far as I know, actual evidence has to come from a third party, not the accuser him/herself. Otherwise what anyone has to do to send someone to jail is to accuse and then corroborate his accusation with his own evidence.

Trump is going to look foolish when these charges are dismissed, but never mind, he got his revenge on someone who made him look bad.

Comey wants this to go to trial. His attorney, who already has a history of slicing and dicing MAGA into minced meat, is already preparing discovery motions, and has told the court he is more than willing to go past the 70 day start date for the trial.

Just think of all of the attorneys at DOJ that were forced out or resigned lining up to testify. Not to mention the classified documents, and former cabinet and DOJ officials that will be getting subpoenas to testify under oath.

Trump is going to have this shoved so far up his ass, he'll be tasting it until the day he dies. I wish Comeys attorney well on causing maximum pain and embarrassment to Trump.

Peter Navarro was indicted relatively quickly by a qualified prosecutor. This was for contempt of congress, which is defying a congressional subpoena.

by contrast, this Comey thing is prosecuted by a lawyer improperly appointed and with no experience as a prosecutor. She is at risk of losing her law license.
