When the alternative to voting no is to agree to more socialism I will back the naysayer every time.

Republicans will have to answer for their votes. Why the projected gloom and doom did not come to pass. Their "Socialist/unconstitutional/government takeover" rhetoric is not going to cut it if and when jobs come back

"If". At last Leftwinger gets it. Those jobs will not come back. The gov't has made it far more expensive to hire people so fewer people will be hired.
We are in a great recovery. A great one if you are a wall st banker or SEIU executive. Because those are the Democrats' constituents, those are the people they represent. They sure don't represent average Americans. Republicans do that.
Democrats: The Plutocratic Party of Fuck You!

There you have it....Rabbi has declared that the US economy will not recover.
Unemployment rate will never drop below 9.7%, nobody will hire between now and November.

Lets see, my friend lets see

Actually it's the White House that says unemployment wont drop. Take it up with them.

I love how the WHite house knows what they're talking about when you want to hear it,but not when they and the CBO estimate that HCR will reduce the deficit...

Yes...the Amazing Rabbi is still calling for stagflation, double dip recession and raging unemployment because of Obama's policies

Actually they don't know what they're talking about in any case.
But when they predict unemployment won't go above 8% and it immediately goes to 10% they don't have much credibility.
So when they say that unemployment will remain above 9% you can pretty much bet it will be higher than that.
And make one or two minor and rational changes in the garbage CBO was given and HCR suddenly ends up costing billions. Which everyone knows anyway.

Actually they don't know what they're talking about in any case.

So they don't know what they're talking about when they say unemployment won't go down, which is why you're using them as a source for your claim that unemployment won't go down....?

Typically, you don't get it.
They are always off. If they predict 8% unemployment, you get 10%. If they predicted 4% unemployment you'd get 8%. Now they're predicting 9% unemployment so you can bet it'll be higher still. They don't err to the high side. Ever.

No.

That's the strongest most coherent post you've ever made on this site.
You're wrong, of course. But it was coherent.

WHAT? It's the Republicans who are now in the process of trying to protect the Wall Street bankers from finance reform, being debated on the Senate floor as we speak.

As to the jobs not coming back, it's a given that many will not because many of the businesses that closed up shop won't be coming back due to outsourcing of the product, which is why retraining programs are needed now more than ever, but of course even that meets with a resounding NO from the Conservative Clowns.

Wall St is a heavy Democratic contributor. The gov't is being run for their benefit. Follow the money.

No. You are two years too old. Research the RNC's meeting with the bankers (either Senator Cornyn or Kyl was voice for the party) this week, in which they were told the Repubs would try to tone down the legislation in return for increased donations for the fall.
