Catholics: What do u think of the pope, so called?

Francesco is pope of the Holy Catholic Church. His chance to become pope had not been very high - but on the second day of the conclave of 115 cardinals (=electoral college) he got more than 2/3rd of all votes and so he is the first not-European pope in the history of the Holy Catholic Church.
he is Italian

just lived in Argentina

Well, as my priest said

lol at his candidness

The Church has had many bad popes. Francis is just one of them..

so true... I don't know about ALL the popes, have studied just a few... but boy, has there been so bad ones!

St Peter of course, was the best one... sigh

the good old days... (and I wasn't even there... !

but I just know...)
Francis isn't my cup of tea. But part of the problem is I don't know what he actually said vs what the Marxist-paid media claims he said. If he spoke English, that would be a help. I don't think he has actually said anything contrary to Catholic doctrine, though the leftwing media has implied he did. I think Francis has been misled on the manmade climate change hoax, but that is his personal opinion, rather than a matter of doctrine. As far as treating the planet well, I mean, sure. Everybody agrees with that. Don't litter. Don't waste landfill space where possible, don't waste resources, recycle. I'm fine with all that.

But the leftwing media has claimed, falsely, that Francis said atheists can go to heaven as they are, presumably without repenting and that gay marriage is OK, that abortion shouldn't be condemned, and that Trump isn't a Christian. He said none of those things. The media is paid to sow division both within and outside the Catholic Church.

He has Italian roots - but he lived his whole life in Argentinia before he became Pope. But that he spoke Italian perhaps had been a criterion from the cardinals who voted for him. Makes sense that the bishop of Rome also speaks Italian.

I'm very happy that he is not a good English speaker. I'm not happy about the influence of the English language. People here say for example such stupid things like "I hate bananas" if they don't like the taste of bananas - but "hate" has absolutelly nothing to do with such a situation. Or they use meanwhile the word "fuck" (ficken) - an activity of a male and female partner for the procreation of a baby - as a swearword (better to say "spearword"). Yesterday actors in a German film said for example "verficktes Arschloch" (fucked up asshole) instead of the usual expression "verdammtes Arschloch" (damned asshole). That's "zum Kotzen".

Jorge Bergoglio (ne' Borgia) is a life long Marxist. A confidant to Fidel Castro, Hugo Chavez, and Nicolas Maduro, the Borgia Pope is deeply involved in Marxist revolutionary acts. He is the Vicar of Marx.

what?

that's all he does is speak heresy

no language barrier to it... A lot of bishops are in opposition to things he has said and quite vocal about it..

which means he is NOT Catholic

the Catholic Church has always taught against communism

so that's the end of that

St Francis of Assisi (and probably other saints) say not to say anything against (my words) priests even when they are in sin

they hold Jesus Himself in their sacred hands...

otay... I will try to abstain from saying anything...

can I actually do that? I'm not sure...

I will pray for the pope... I will inform people of what he says that is not Catholic... but I will try to refrain from ... well, calling him names like Heretic and etc... wait... that's just saying the truth...

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
