The unemployment numbers in my area (western Pa.) have been hanging around 4% for the longest period since 1969.The labor pool in this nation is way way over flooded and there's too many people in the workforce.

The high cost of living breeds something close to despair among working class folks, a large percentage of whom will NEVER own a home unless some relative happens to bequeath one to them.
There are a lot of reasons to love living in California - mainly related to the climate and natural resources - but there are also many reasons to want to GTFO. I fervently hope that a large plurality of the wretched third-worlders whom Biden has invited into our midst settle in California, so as not to fuck up the Electoral count in the future.
