Bjj is too complex

I have a firearm within reach 24/7.
You'll be dead before you even wake up or lift a finger toward it.

So you're going to get past the gate in my gated community, then get past my security system and the dogs without waking me up?
LOL....I can see why the authorities think you're nuts.
I'll even give you a heads up,be sure and wear a mask because I have cameras all over the place.

They have thousands of moves
It’s all ground grappling
So today , I wanted to review several and I forgot many key details !
I am frustrated
I only could remember 2//3 which means the move won’t work

Yeah, but if you become proficient it's very difficult to beat.
Just look at Royce Gracie. That dude was a badass!!! He regularly beat dudes much bigger than him.
Bjj is not as successful in today’s mma
You pull guard and you will take a beating

Oh really?

Wrestling is far more successful in the UFC

You'll have to give me some proof of that.
Watch ufc and it’s boxing and wrestling that is winning

I've watched the UFC since it's inception, like back in the days of Tank Abbott.
BJJ wins consistently.
Look at the God of BJJ Royce Gracie.
He was the first and only UFC fighter to win three titles.
Bjj from the guard gets you smashed today
What wins is great boxing and wrestling

One thing to remember use scented baby oil before a grappling match..

BJJ = Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu vs. Japanese Jūjutsu 柔術 ?
On the other hand, is there something more fitting with Brazilian Portuguese or some authentic history to this?
MMA = Mixed Martial Arts?

What's with all the "Mixed" or culturally displaced martial arts?
Take a couple of classes and defend yourself in a riot or street fighting situation? No, that's not going to work.

The Martial Art chosen must be a way of life -- "Live by the sword, die by the sword," as they say -- and remember to choose life rather than death.

Whatever it is, there's got to be some method or discipline to learn it correctly and do it right -- and these things are very traditional and somewhat particular to each culture or area or school -- the difficulty is on par with learning a foreign language and acting as your own attorney in court in a foreign country to defend yourself against the false accusations of the enemy.

There are certain basic principles universal to all martial arts, of course, and it's good and well to learn such things, but I really don't like the fads that come and go, or the foreign-oriented martial-arts cultural sleaze that is not true to its country of origin.
We train mostly as hobby
It’s just cool to me !!
It’s not that I am violent or even aggressive
I just enjoy it

I have not ever attacked anyone
I do no gi bjj and to be honest I love it but I would say half of the moves are to complex to even remember
Mma ground and pound is much easier

Whats that have to do with it?
And you failed to address Royce Gracie. The guy is a legend and won three titles using BJJ which no one has matched.
My only problem with BJJ is it's only good for one on one fights.
But if it's a one on one affair BJJ is going to beat anyone since it's pretty tough to continue with a dislocated elbow or knee.

Gracie would get killed today and KO
Bjj has terrible take downs and zero striking
It’s the 4th best one in 2020s mma

Bullshit.
The ground and pound was all they did in the UFC in the beginning.
Tank was a street fighter as were most UFC contestants in the beginning and he destroyed them.

Not in modern mma. A pure BJJ guy cannot take down a wrestler

True, now a bunch of wrestlers that learn some submissions and striking are dominating the sport.

Matt Hughes obliterated him in a few min when they fought

LOL...and what did Hughes use to defeat him?
It sure as hell wasn't the ground and pound.
Wrestling background and learned some submissions. He was a 2 time division 1 wrestling all American. I believe for mma he trained in the Pat Militiech fighting system that was heavy in wrestling as well. Yes they learned submissions from bjj as well as judo. And learned striking as well. In fact more of Hughes's stoppages were due to striking than submissions. Bjj is a great system but right now you really need to be a well rounded fighter to succeed in mma.

And remember in the early days you did not have to wear gloves to fight so not many people's hands would hold together bare knuckle and most Americans had never seen submission grappling so bjj dominated. Those dats are over.
