The base game is free, with ONE free map. Everything else must be purchased. Sometimes they allow you to use an aircraft for two weeks to see if you like it or not.

For GA flying and spectacular imagery, I fly in FS2020. For highly complex planes with pretty poor scenery, I fly in XP11.
