Bad news for Democracy " "russia" meddling to help Trump win re-election, US lawmakers hear"

US is not a democracy, but a republic.

Good to remember that.

It was one thing believing in flat earth when we did not know better. Now that we do have the proof that the earth is round... why do you believe in a flat earth?
"US is not a democracy" you must be joking, right ? ....

No, US is a constitutional republic.

You are a joke. We should take the vote away from idiots like yourself as it used to be, make America great again.

Here's the answer: The United States is both a democracy and a republic.

United States is a constitutional republic.

In specific if we wanted to take away your voting rights, that's perfectly American, even if it's not democratic. That's because we are NOT a democracy. No need for stupid word games here.

When characterizing a country democracy and republic are a different thing, so your link is wrong.

Republic vs. Democracy: What Is the Difference?
Nearly all countries are constitutional republics. Democracy is the value system that separates free countries from shitholes like Russia.

We are not a democracy. When the voting rights were fewer the country did far better.

Democrat whining about not being democratic is such irony anyway. Always when election does not go their way they try to change the result. Face it, TRUMP is our legitimate president.

Yes he is but when he gets voted out you nutjobs will not be able to accept the results.

The whole “Russia affecting our election “ meme is a covert effort by the establishment to gin up hatred for a Russia and maybe even war. It’s all bull shit, but terribly damaging. Millions of Americans really think Russia is at war with the USA. It’s fucking crazy.

Looking at the bright side, if they get war with Russia, we won’t need to worry about climate change or healthcare anymore.

We Republicans will accept the outcome of the 2020 election.
Its the democrats always whining about Russia, or dark money, or voter restrictions, or the race card, or not allowing convicts to vote, or it was raining, or we will resist, or Republicans are stupid, or the fake MSM polls didn't work as intended, or Hollywood failed, or any other number of excuses to say that Trump's victory is illegitimate. Coxuckers can whine all they want.

I'm still waiting to hear how this is supposed to happen. Not a single person can answer how it was that the Russians got them to vote for Trump the last time.

I don't support Trump. Never have never will but I have to wonder about this also. Hillary did threaten to shoot down their planes in a part of the world we have no place being in the first place.

Obama had it in for Russia when they countered him on invading Syria and wouldn't turn over Snowden. That wing of the party likely still has it out for them. That wing of the party is being set aside.

LOL we hear on this board every day that democrats are counting entirely on the illegal alien vote to win. Face it, republicans have made democracy itself the enemy because it sometimes produces democratic presidents.

Will democrat excuse of losing the next election be the same as the one for losing the last election?

can you stay on the topic ? what you think leader of US has to do (toward "a gas station masquerading as a country") in such situation?
"
US intelligence agencies have warned that Russia is attempting to help President Donald Trump get re-elected in November, US media report.

The comments came in a closed-door briefing to the House Intelligence Committee on 13 February, officials told US outlets."

Why is it never explained how it is that this is supposedly going to be done?

And then how can we condemn others for what we so readily do ourselves? Do we not have to stop doing it before we can expect other countries to stop?

Democrats are telling everyone that we can't stand 4 more years of this.

Trump is doing all of this imaginary shit to this country and it has to stop.

Wrong.

What I'm seeing is the screaming media and their lying Democrat friends disrupting our lives.

Trump is doing his job every day....but the Democrats are wailing like banshees 24/7/365 about one thing after another.

Here's deal. The left wants us to get tired of their temper-tantrums.

They say it will all end if we just put a dirty incompetent Democrat back in the Oval Office.

Now the left is trying to create yet another Russia scare.

Russia....Russia....Russia....

2 years ago they tried it....and they're doing it again today.

For everybody's information: Litwin is a Ukrainian troll, who keeps spamming USMB with anti-Russian BS, wants to portray Russia as an enemy to USA to more suck money for Deep State controlled Ukraine.

Norman , gipper , pknopp , kyzr

The problem is, there are many trying to make this argument. I do believe they are largely being ignored though.

Doesn’t seem so

Please prove your point that Republicans made "democracy" the enemy. That statement makes no sense to me.
The fact that Obama was elected to two terms seems to disprove your point.
The probability that Trump will also win two terms shows that "democracy" is working.

Why are Republicans blocking legislation to restrict foreign interference in elections?

Do you understand what the word "bullshit" means?
HOW is Russia helping Trump get re-elected? I call bullshit on the US intel agencies unless they provide proof. Are they deep state hacks?
Why wouldn't they provide proof so that we would all be aware of the methods being used to influence our votes?
"officials told US outlets" translates to Schiff leaked to the NYT
THAT is the topic.

You mean can he be blocked without Dems using PUTIN Russia interference As a strategy like they did the 2018 mid terms. Hence Dems are using Russia as their help.-oops.
