No Christian government ever persecuted others? Man, you need some history lessons.Your premise is wrong. A government that is based on Christianity doesn't persecute. Irreligious ones do.

They weren't following the teachings of Jesus, the few times it happened. So you're saying atheist regimes persecute less?No Christian government ever persecuted others? Man, you need some history lessons.
The No True Scotsman Fallacy won't wash here. Besides, it's inevitable that governments persecute, any government, Pagan, Atheist, Christian, whatever. It is what they do.They weren't following the teachings of Jesus, the few times it happened. So you're saying atheist regimes persecute less?
You dodged the question. Let's try again. Are you saying atheist regimes persecute less than Christian countries? If you don't answer, you're simply trolling, and thereby dismissed. The No True Scotsman Fallacy won't wash here. If the government locks you up for preaching the Gospel, you're being persecuted. Now you're in charge, locking me up for trying to persuade people to be Atheist, again persecution. Which is why, as I've proven conclusively, Jesus never wanted His followers involved with worldly politics.
The inculcators of such severance thought are nothing more than a just a trace of the crossmotors of human yearning.
I'll concede the point, yes the Soviet Union, Maoist China, Pol Pot's Cambodia were horrible. And the only reason so called Christian nations weren't as horrible is that they became Secular! No more Absolute Truths that had to be defended, not by reason and gentle persuasion, but by the sword. If you want a reason why the Atheist governments that proliferated at the dawn of the 20th century killed more than the Christian nations a few centuries before wasn't a greater lust for blood on the part of Atheist governments, they had access to better technology. You dodged the question. That, of course, is ridiculous. No comparable atrocities are occurring in officially Catholic countries today, and they have great technology. Say it with me: No Christian countries are comparable to atheist countries in atrocities, violence, murder, and repression, and the reason is the inherent evil in atheism.I'll concede the point, yes the Soviet Union, Maoist China, Pol Pot's Cambodia were horrible. And the only reason so called Christian nations weren't as horrible is that they became Secular! But here you are, Mashmont, apparently envious of those Atheist governments, and wish to do the same, but this time in the service of Jesus. Because to achieve what you want would ultimately require the same tactics.
But Atheism is not against the law in those countries you mentioned, but if you had your way...That, of course, is ridiculous. No such atrocities are occurring in officially Catholic countries today: Portugal, Italy, Monaco, Philippines. And America could do it better.
Go to one of the five atheist countries I mentioned. See what real zealotry looks like. Then you'll change your tune quite a bit.
The question wasn't for you. Surprise! No. I will stay in MY country. And I will defend the US Constitution to keep my country the way it was meant to be.
Thank you for having an open mind and being reasonable. But Atheism is not against the law in those countries you mentioned, but if you had your way...
And even history can point to some of those countries (Monaco excluded ) that did commit atrocities. But I'll concede another point. Those atrocities were not to further Christianity, that would be despicable, but for the noble aims of Greed and Avarice.
The question wasn't for you. Surprise!
But even so, thank you for admitting atheist countries are crap. Now let's keep our country from becoming one.
I wonder how many atheists have come to his door to preach the wonders of Atheism. The very existence of Atheists sure bothers Mashmont who wants to bash them because he is a religious fanatic.
The United States is a secular country as per the Constitution which, thankfully, protects us from crazies like you.No such thing as a secular country. We are moving from Christian to atheist, and this is what I want to stop, and if you truly subscribed to the faith you claim, you would want to stop our shift to atheism as well.
You mean catholic NAZI Germany, right?Only if it's a just government. We wouldn't be required to do the bidding of say, the murderous thugs of Nazi Germany. But you knew that.
It most certainly DOES persecute. Thank goodness we are protected from religion by the U.S. Constitution.Your premise is wrong. A government that is based on Christianity doesn't persecute. Irreligious ones do.
No True Scotsman excuse-making, eh?They weren't following the teachings of Jesus, the few times it happened. So you're saying atheist regimes persecute less?
There have been some. BLM nuts came by once and axed for money. Environmentalist nuts came by and asked us to turn off all power for one hour. I told them I would if they would pay for all the food in my freezer.I wonder how many atheists have come to his door to preach the wonders of Atheism.
What makes America great is we allow any and all religion and we allow people to not believe in Religion. If it makes you feel better about yourself great. I think it's harmful because it's a lie and no matter how good a lie is, it's better to know the truth.During the past three months, I have been making the case that the American government has been pushing the atheist agenda by default, as they try to keep religion out of government. I have received all kind of blowback from those who want the pushing of atheism by government to continue unimpeded. It’s Time for an Outright Ban on the Promotion of Atheism. It’s Time to Formally Declare America A Christian Nation.
Well, atheists, I cordially invite you to live in one of the five countries that are the fulfillment of your atheist dreams. These are the countries whose governments are officially atheist:
China, North Korea, Cuba, Laos, and Vietnam. We can also throw in Albania, Cambodia, Russia (and former SSRs) just to give you more of a choice. Then come back in here (if they'll let you out) and answer the following questions:
1) Did the government try to force Christianity on you, or atheism?
2) Did you feel more free under the atheist regime than you do here in America?
3) Are you more in agreement with leftwing government policies or less, now that you've returned?
4) Would like to permanently live in the atheist Marxist hellhole country you visited for a year?
I would point out that many of the leftist policies being pushed on America by the Marxists are NOT practiced in these Communist Countries: gay marriage, climate change measures, the trans garbage, banishment of fossil fuels . Why is that? Because these things are for OUR consumption only. They are designed by the Marxists to weaken our families and our economy to make us ripe for collapse. Why would they want to harm their OWN countries with this stuff?
Keep in mind, the most strident pro-Trump conservatives in America are Cuban-Americans who escaped atheist Communist Cuba. They delivered Florida for Trump twice. They understand what living in a Marxist cesspool is like.
Frankly, I wish such a visit could be a requirement for all leftwingers, particularly young ignoramus college kids. I predict they would return here such defenders of Christian capitalism, they would help dismantle the Marxist indoctrination centers (aka "universities") brick by brick. Like the Cubans, they would come back staunch supporters of Trump Christian conservatism.
My question was clearly aimed at that chatter specifically. Please don't be rude and intercept others' questions. Thank you for admitting you have no intention to moving to the atheist sh*thole countries. One would logically assume the quality of life there is poor.Firs of all, your thread was not aimed at anyone specifically.
Second of all, I admitted nothing of the kind. I made no statement about the quality of life in either atheist countries or theocratic countries. So quit making up lies about what I said.
Third of all, I will help keep our wonderful nation the land of the free and the home of the brave. I will fight to defend and maintain our constitution, especially the Bill of Rights, as it is.
