I am not sure what bizarre fantasy world you live in, but nobody in history has ever been happy with where every one of their tax dollars goes. The sooner we can melt the icecaps the better. Then people can migrate and use currently uninhabitable lands like northern Canada and Russia, and Antarctic. There is a lot of land that can be used for farming if it was warmer.
