They haven't launched a war since 1979. They didn't take Hong Kong by force, they waited for the UK's lease to run out. (Same deal with Macao).

It's kind of like people thinking anything China has could compete withour F-22. I PROMISE YOU, nobody outside of the deepest and highest ups in the air force know what that plane is capable of. I talked to someone who is in the air force who, without disclosing confidential information, told me about how he laughs when people think China could shoot down an F-22. He said not in your lifetime or mine. I asked him about the Chinese copies of the airplanes we make, and he had a good laugh. He said since when has anything that's a chinese copy of an American product been even half as good as the original?

We have 12 cruisers compared to their ZERO.
we have 68 destroyers compared to their 33

Now, where China has advantages,

I'm against the DP, mostly because if someone turns out to be innocent, you can't make them alive again.

But I have kind of a rule about foreign cultures and countries... I don't judge their internal policies. It's really not our place to tell another country how they manage their country, unless they are completely dependent on American aid like the Zionist Entity is.

Seems to me that if you are going to execute people, harvesting their organs is less wasteful.

Kind of hard to have that when no one in his right mind would sign up when they can make more money in the private sector.

I am proud of my service. But I would be reluctant to recommend it to most young people today, given how our politicians misuse it.

Here's the problem. Our Navy, to be effective in detering China from taking a crappy Island or Taiwan, has to get close enough to be taken out by Chinese missiles or aircraft.
