What a stupid post. The ONLY reason Trump approved the Keystone XL, was because Obama turned it down, on the basis of the environmental assessment reports. NOBODY WANTED THE KEYSTONE PIPELINE EXCEPT TRUMP - TO SPITE OBAMA.

Gas prices are determined by the gas and oil companies, not the president. BTW.............can you explain why prices are so high (although, they've dropped significantly, just bought gas today at 2.96/gal), yet oil companies are seeing record profits?

Rampant inflation? Yeah, that might be on the government.

Fentanyl deaths? Might wanna talk to China about that, as that is where most of the stuff comes from.

If oil companies set the prices, we would have been paying over $10.00 a gallon for at least the last 20 years. The prices of all fuels are controlled by the market. The market responds to news of all fuels, and we were stupid enough to replace a pro-energy President with an anti-energy President.

When this happens, the market gets shaky. Investors (who actually set the price for fuels) watch carefully. When Dementia stopped the Keystone, it gave investors every reason to believe he wasn't just talking the talk, he's walking the walk, and the price of gasoline increased.

Afterwards he took several other actions that caused the increase of prices such as making the statement that it's not governments concern when the Russians hacked our largest gasoline pipeline. He doubled the royalty fees on oil companies. He stopped all new drilling and leases on public land.

With each measure, the price of gasoline increased until the Ukraine invasion where it shot to the ceiling.

What are you talking about? We see it all the time around here. Gas stations respond to the market prices. That's why they all change at the same time.

Supply and demand is the major factor of anything from gasoline to college. Presidents like the moron we have now affects those prices much more than oil companies do. The market has regulations on artificially increasing or decreasing production to control the prices. A US President can do what he wants when he wants.
