Continuing strikes at this point is not a strategic necessity. The damage is terminal.

Except Iran is not fighting from a rational dollars and cents POV, you are. They will not quit until 100% dead, you'll quit by your own admission just as soon as your piggy bank goes ding.

We pay a far higher price for any given war because we insist on the most expensive and sophisticated weapons so we don't have to actually get our pants dirty.

You just admitted that Iran's oil and gas capability won't be 100% for years, ITMT, the world needs that oil and gas, so in effect, the IRGC have already won, they know America is all used up and ready to bail, and so long as a few of them are left, like a weed, they'll be back in a few years, bigger and worse than ever.
